First of all I would like to say that it was absolutely amazing to have Ivana&Steve over. Thank you so much for coming to our home in Dubai and spending time with us guys. Both of you honestly are one of the most humblest couples on RUclips. Keep in doing what you're doing! Love you guys ❤ I would like to introduce ourselves; I was born in NY USA and I am a hindu from Indian origin, brought up in Thailand (my name is Amisha). My husband Sunny was born and brought up in Dubai and is a Catholic from Pakistani origin. My in laws as Steve&Ivana explained have been in Dubai since 1976. No matter what platform our aim will always be to bring cultures together; the nationality, religion, ethnicity, race, gender does not matter at all. We are all human beings and special in our own ways! It's always a delight to get to know multi-cultural people! Steve & Ivana; you are truly awesome! Lots of love ❤ hope to meet you guys again in the near future; maybe in another country this time 😉 In the end I would like to add that the world needs love, care, support and help right! It doesn't matter where we're from at all! I am from humanity! and believe in the law of attraction. May God bless us all. Thank you once again Ivana&Steve for creating such lovely content always and being the down to earth people that you are. Mom/Dad/Sunny/Frosty give their warm regards to you both. Lots of love ❤ Sunny's wife, Amisha 🙂
What a comment! Very well said :D. We had such a great time at your place! Your family is a great example of how we should all get along, regardless of race/religion/etc. And let's definitely meet up in another country!!! Sounds great.

The Nihari looked absolutely amazing. It takes many hours to cook so kudos to the young lady for preparing it. There you have it guys. The Indo Pak friendship at its best.
Amisha and Sunny and lovely parents... that's so nice of you to invite them over and preparing a lovely dinner. Honestly like Steve said... What could be better than this.

Yup Pakistani people are the kindest souls ☺️👌 we can't wait to go! Its our dream to visit and live in Malaysia also, so we'll have to ask you guys where the best spots are there! All the best x
Nihari originates in Pakistan, the Shami kebabs have meat in them usually a pakistani concept. Pakistani biryanis differs by city, Karachi biryani will be different then Lahore etc. Although some similarities exist between both cuisines Pakistani dishes consist more of meat and indian more of veg. Also North pakistani food is completely different then traditional pakistani food, and the more south you go in india the more different the cuisine gets. As an American-Pakistani for us there is a clear difference between Pakistani and Indian cuisine. When we go to an indian place they have paneer, dosa, traditional vegetarian dishes etc. Versus a pakistani place will have many more meat based dishes, chicken jalfrizi, kabuli pulao, nihari and namak gosht. In terms of other things like sweets for us pakistanis it’s hard to enjoy the sweets made by indians as some are vegetarian, and some are just made differently then how pakistanis make them. That is why we only get sweets from pakistani stores and brands. Good to see a indian-pakistani couple 🇵🇰🙏
Correction Nihari is originated in Delhi. Before Partition in Mughal Era. and eaten in Brunch ( Mughals and Muslim Nawab's usually woke up after noon. After partition chefs also migrated to Pakistan (specially in Karachi and bring with them all sorts of cuisines. So Nihari has its origins in Pre-Partition Delhi but now is more popular in Pakistan (One big reason being, generally in Nihari, BEEF is used which is a big no no in India).
And Biryani has its origins in Parisian Rice base food BIRYAN. Difference being naturally when that Persian food come to Mughal ruled India, more spices were introduced into it. In Karachi you can find. Hyderabad Biryani (originated from pre-partitioned State of Hyderabad )Bombay Biryani, Sindhi Biryani etc. More and more types of Biryanis are now being introduced with new recipes.
Thank you Steve and Ivana for highlighting the Indian and Pakistani hospitality that I have taken for granted all my life. This is because I had a mother who is very giving that I thought it is very natural for everybody to be like that. It made me think of an Indian lady of a noble family who cook chapatis for me while I was eating. Her husband was the head of the United Nation in Geneva then. I was only a college friend of their daughter.
