Great tutorial! An easier fix for the leg cross problem would be to adjust the pin depth so the right leg is on top. No extra layer needed, makes it way easier to adjust later on :)
I remember watching Dansky's videos a year or two ago and they were good but DAMN, Dansky has stepped up the game in this video! The polished intro, the zoom in and outs and clear instructions. This is top notch 👍👍
I used puppet warp on a shoot for the New York City Ballet a few years ago. They loved one of the shots but the arm wasn’t in the perfect position. I told the Ballet Master “give me 2 minutes and I can fix it for you”. They all stood over me and watched as I cut the subject out and repositioned her arm with puppet warp. They actually gave me a round of applause! Of course we tried to get the photos to be as good as possible in camera, but sometimes you need a little photoshop help, and this did the trick! Saved us hours of trying to get it done in camera.
Good tutorial .. there is an easier fix for the legs or pretty much if you want one of the pins to be behind another pin, is right click the pin, then if you want for instance the left leg to be behind the right leg, you click the left leg pin and then click "send backward" .. or if you want the left leg to be in front of the right leg, you click the left leg pin then click "bring forward"
I usually like your tutorials but this is a 10 mins video, that the first 4+ had nothing to do with what you said would be about.... Half was useless ramblings

The best part about watching tutorials is getting to discover new ideas and new ways of how to solve problems. Thanks!
The pin depth is RIGHT THERE

This is incredible! Dansky, you're a master!
Also... might be easier to warm if you set the transparency down some so you can see the model underneath. ?
just move the pins on the leg behind to the front. in the layer front and back tabs
Learn something new every day.💜

those dislikes are talentless.
Nice! But you no longer have to hold SHIFT when transforming. Shift allows FREE transform. NO Shift is now constrained.

Plenty of useful info that will be important for beginners (eg. Smart Objects) but thanks for the feedback.
Really cool tutorial! I didn't realize the power of the puppet tool until now. Thank you!
Couldn’t you use « pindepth » to put the other leg in front instead of using the brush?? Nice work anyway 👍 like it
