so you guys should really mention the feedback frequency slider still works. and its main use as a secondary smoothing slider. i only say this because you informed us the community that the feedback frequency slider would be disabled which is very incorrect. feedback frequency is still working and should very much be used. these settings they showed are terrible DO NOT USE. search race beyond matter and use his settings and tweak from there. none of simagics profiles feel good. wouldnt imagine they start feeling good with these two.
While I agree on the Feedback Frequency miscommunication needing correction, I found the 2 profiles provided to be decent in some cars at least. Preferences all vary, but they worked OK in the GT cars & dirt road cars I tested. However, the do have the same problematic vibration & noise issues seen in many oval cars. As with most of those, it takes a high smoothing of at least 3, usually 4 to nuke the problems. And as mentioned, high levels of Feedback Frequency can help remove those problems too. 9 Freq. definitely helps but I don't know how far down may work since I have not run the full sweep. This new 360hz seems more picky between cars than the prior 60hz mode. So we have more work to do with Smoothing & Frequency to dial out any unwanted noise & vibrations.
Both profiles are intended for all three Simagic models: Alpha Mini, Alpha and Alpha Ultimate. I have not seen specific recommendations between the 2 profiles, so testing with your car & track combos may be best. That or look at some of settings with most notable differences (like Wheel Rotation Speed and Feedback Detail) in consideration of your prior setups may point you towards one or the other. But both are worth a test based on my use. Each seems good in their own way.
You are already doing something for IRacing. But when will there finally be a fix update for Raceroom? With the Alpha DD 15Nm, the steering angle is not yet adopted. Crap. As of 2005. Even Thrustmaster can do that better than you!
