  • There are intersections in Hermitage that even after the light turns green you hesitate to proceed through the intersection. The intersection at Maple Drive and Morefield Road is one of these intersections. Today however, we noticed a specific red light violator. Wait until you see who ran the light...
I wonder what their insurance rates are??

This practice of running red lights and stop signs, I might add, is an epidemic! Living on a corner you see it all times of the day and night. To me, it is disturbing because it shows a lack of concern for others than can have serious and sometimes fatal consequences. Unless law enforcement catches them, there is really no way to stop it. By the way, what is life like in Hermitage? Is it a safe place to live? Still doing some research on relocating there so any input would be most helpful. Thank you for the video and for exposing the culprit! Good catch!

We are actually planning to leave the area. Taxes are high, jobs are few, crime is on the rise, We have a very small community and rather than bring a new business we have 3 McDonald's, 2 burger kings, 2 starbucks. The housing is cheap and the law enforcement is very good other than that not a great deal of opportunity. I did a photo book on the infrastructure which is in poor condition. We never recovered after the mills left. My book is called "Ruin in the Rust Belt". Sounds like you have an active traffic corner too.

@@seenthroughmylens2510 I thank you for responding to my question(s) here. I appreciate it! I am looking for a quieter place to live; yes, the corner here is very close to a very busy north / south county road. Police and only be in so many places and all of my neighbors actively complain about the shenanigans that go on outside. Fast food is not going to improve an area; I wish you well wherever you end up. Take care!

Sheesh nothing. It was fine if you are going through the light on the other side and they hit you. Fine like the Howard Hanna lady that rolled her car the other day on a flat surface?? Fine like the motorcyclists that get killed by people crossing center? Fine like the dirt bike that just rode a wheelie up an ambulance route? Maybe you are part of the problem. B.W.A.Y.

Red lights are there for a reason. Maybe you should get yours checked sheesh. Or are red lights just an option sheesh. Or maybe the cars should all just blow the lights because I am sure we all have rush appointments sheesh . Or maybe when ambulances are going through that intersection with someone you know in the ambulance and some idiot blows the light because he has to rush to store and hits ambulance I don't know sheesh. You get the point sheesh. Or he kills someone because red lights are optional sheesh
