The one thing that I kinda liked very much of is that the frame of Liko that got people speculating the reason of her look of her being in a slow-mo shock-and-awe (a lot of people kinda assumed it was because it was an indicator Floragato was going to finally evolve into Meowscarada); but in actuality it turned out to be just Gouging Fire "stealing" from Liko of her belt!!!
Roy didn't have any Pokeballs to catch Sandy Shocks which is rather unfortunate. He could've been the 3rd character in the anime to own a Paradox Pokémon
Let me tell ya. Pokemon Horizons: The Series is cooking this year. Not only we're getting hyped up for the next weeks episode, But we're got new upcoming episodes into the month of February. I've got a prediction this the final arc would be Season 5 & i'm also predicting that the main trio's starters will eventually evolve into their final formes. Either in episode 82, 86 or in Horizons: Season 5. Liko's Floragato evolves into Meowscarada. Roy's Crocalor evolves into Skeledirge & Dot's Quaxwell evolves into Quaquaval. These are just my predictions. It could happen, We'll just have to find out & see as the Pokemon Horizons anime continues onward.
Dot finally got some spotlight in the battles between Lucius' pokemon. These battles usually focus on Liko and their teamwork but this time it mainly focused on Dot and a bit of Friede and Pikachu too
Man, Gouging Fire is incredible! I'm getting excited to see more of these episodes, and I hope we're going to see maybe Mega Rayquaza and Zygarde 100% form, especially in Shiny! I hope so!
So not only was Gouging Fire always the final member of the Six Heroes, we also learn the reason why it was said to be "Entei" the whole time. Lucius himself mistook it for one Anyone who said we only saw Entei in the previous flashback due to it being from Rystal's point of view, hats off to you cos that's pretty much the case
I always had a feeling it would be gouging fire just because every other hero had something unique about it that you wouldn't know just by hearing it's name. Rayquaza is shiny, arboliva is giant, moltres is galarian, lapras has those scars, klevor is a pokemon supposed to be extinct, and entei was gouging fire.
Actually no they made it unnecessary complex if it was from lystal POV someone that was there and knows what gouging fire looks like which it should of been we would of seen it as gouging fire it was from liko POV which is honestly dumb. This is the only thing I really dislike about HZ atm. They could of done this so much better 1 have the fans see it as gouging fire and she calls it entei because it should be from lystal POV 2 have Layla telling the story that she just found out about 3 they are reading the story from lystal journal and she writes it as entei. The only reason I think we even got lystal is because they wanted to show her 1 time in person everything else about her will be in flashbacks because she is the least important OG explorer she got stuck in the lover/mother role and she died young where Layla didn’t even know her name so she died soon after the lake. The only thing important besides continuing Lucius and her line which none of them look like her at all is passing terapagos down.
@ I don’t care about them calling it entei what I think is dumb is having lystal someone who was there and knows what it looks like and it not being in her POV but liko. She could of called it entei and shown it as gouging fire what they did was unnecessary complex
I like how Episode 81 immediately gets to the point and not waste too much time with the main cast meeting Gouging Fire. Also I like how while Gouging Fire showed interest in joining Liko, it then fakes her out by giving her its Ancient Pokeball before suddenly snatching the belt containing the Pokeballs of the other Six Heroes, intending to test the strength of Liko and her friends. Although the main cast held up pretty well early on and Dot's Quaxwell also managed to learn the move Aqua Cutter while trying to attack Gouging Fire with Air Cutter, Gouging Fire still had the advantage with sheer power for most of the battle, and because of its part Dragon typing it completely shrugs off Captain Pikachu's Electric attacks while attacking with its Protosynthesis boosted Raging Fury. Although Dot didn't really have her moment to shine during the battle against Geeta, it's REALLY cool to see her development here and played a VERY important role in the battle against Gouging Fire. Dot discovers that even with some setbacks, learning about the Pokemon's weaknesses and abilities bit by bit during the battle makes battles fun. Which is big development for Dot from to her battles against Iono and Larry during the Terastal Training arc. She went into those battles with a set strategy in mind, before the battles she would either simulate how the battles would go based on the Pokemon's moves or research on the Gym Leader based on videos of their matches, but her plan during those battles quickly fall apart once they caught her off guard and used unexpected strategies. And in this battle, Dot REALLY shows her quick thinking skills, not only by giving her team the idea of attacking Gouging Fire the moment Burning Bulwark wears off which allowed Crocolor to land a Stomping Tantrum, but also taking advantage of Gouging Fire in its confused state after using Raging Fury and lure it to a river which not only allows Cap to land a Thunder Punch, but also because it's now in water, Thunder Punch now hits even harder (reminiscent to Brock's Onix with the sprinklers) and giving Liko's Floragato an opening to retrieve the belt and pass Gouging Fire's test. Since Liko and Roy found their drive and love for battling during their battle against each other at the end of Terastal arc, you just have to wonder when Dot will ever find it herself. After her battle against Iono, Dot really hasn't been getting her own satisfactory battles or feats, like either outside forces or a Pokemon's own change (aka evolution) gave her the win and not exactly her own strategy. And this episode especially showcased not only her realization with battling, but also her love for research that goes hand in hand AND how she's getting a lot better at adapting and improvisation, which she is necessary if she wants to keep exploring the unknown. I love how much it touches upon that aspect, and I love how the rest of the gang, ESPECIALLY FRIEDE who's a researcher she admired supported her and respected her decisions. People REALLY need to remember that at this point in the series, Liko, Roy and Dot aren't rookie trainers anymore seeing that so far they have battled against Agents (Zir and Conia) and Admins (Sango and Onyx) of the Explorers and won, multiple of Lucius' Pokemon (Liko, Roy and Dot getting a sparring battle against Arboliva, Galarian Moltres and Lapras respectively) and holding their own really well against Kleavor, and even battled against an Entei for a while before earning its respect. And in the last episode Roy managed to defeat Sandy Shocks, a Paradox Pokemon on his own. Each of them also specialize in different things, Liko specializing with adaptability and strategy, Roy specializing in power and Dot specializing in knowledge and quick thinking skills, which is why they're a lot more powerful when fighting together. Also something that I liked regarding the stealing of the belt, is that later on after clearing Gouging Fire's test, in Pagogo's memory, we get to see that stealing it doing a very similar thing with Lucius but with it stealing its Pokeball, and learning that it was a game that it liked to play with Lucius. It really shows off its personality a lot and ties the whole test back to its time with Lucius, especially since it's now playing the game with Lucius' descendant.
Hey PokeRaf great review of this latest episode of horizons really cool seeing Gouging Fire is now confirmed as one of the six heroes and excited for the battle against Black Rayquaza and Shiny Zyguarde thanks for sharing this 👍❤️
I have a crazy theory, about the scene where Friede seemingly goes off and possibly being 'retiring', because, and this is going to sound really crazy, I theorise that Amethio will be succeeding Friede as the new commander of the Rising Volt Tacklers, along with Zirc and Onia joining Amethio, this can only happen if Amethio really joins the Rising Volt Tacklers along with Zirc and Onia
I'd give this week's episode a 9/10. I found it weird that Gouging Fire appeared immediately at the start instead of our heroes putting in any effort to find it. As for the excuse that they didn't know it was not a normal Entei, I don't mind it. Still, the battle, strategies, and animation were the highlights. Plus, that cliffhanger at the end with Lucius' Rayquaza appearing makes me so freaking hyped for next week's episode. As for the the titles for the next few episodes, I'm so excited for the Rising Volt Tacklers to finally reach Laqua and have their climatic battle with the Explorers. Pokémon Horizons will surely be peak when these episodes are released.
I thought at first pago power changed Entei into Gouging fire but turns out it was Gouging fire all along on a different note i hope that in the final Arc liko dot and roy get there fully evolved starters
I have a feeling that amethio is going to catch a new legend suiting him I come to this that we see legends in this series here and there We have moltres technically from galar but also Kanto in a way Entei from johto Razaquaz from hoenn No sinnoh no unova zygarde for kalos no alola and ofc paldea If we are actually seeing these legendaries here and there ; I think there is room for darkrai a very suiting pokemon to him And ofcourse amethio revolting against gibbon with only ceruledge and corviknight isn't easy
If they didn't brought Ash in these series, it really does confirmed that he's not going to appears except the connection or easter eggs about him. I know i keep mentioning about him already but still. Is it really the end of Pokémon Horizons in the near future after some story/final arc?
Fam, Pagos is gonna rip them skies apart now its got its powers back from its friends. My question is what is going on after Raqua? Are we sticking with them 3 on a new adventure with the 6 hero’s? They cant get rid of Capt and Friede, that would kill it.
Well if the layout didn’t change from the leak about HZ we have the first hunt which ends with this arc a 2 year time skip and another hunt which hopefully revolves around roy family. I think the hero Pokémon will not be sticking around they ether die stabilize laqua or go back to Lucius because he is alive he could travel or be stuck or choose to stay in laqua as its guardian or the hero Pokémon become laqua guardians.
Gouging fire is so awesome and quite powerful.. can’t wait for Shiny Rayquaza next week I hope Roy takes charge since his goal is to catch Raquaza and I hope he gets to keep it although I have a feeling Lucius might be alive still… Honestly it would be awesome if Crocalor evolves into Skeledirge during this battle and beats Shiny Rayquaza… Also I hope Liko uses pagogo in battle
I just hope that they dont make liko and the other 2 to OP in the Final Battle Like If they them self take down zygarde it wouldn't make sense i kinda Hope that rayquasa and the others (lapras, terapagos etc) carry them as dumb as that might Sound but think about it 3 non fully evolved starters and 3 not fully trained pokemon taking down a zygarde would be to much so yeah i Hope that they atleast let rayquasa and the others do Most of the work and that the gang is more Support than Main fighters
Dont understand me wrong i Like the Series but the way the power scaling is handled in this serious is Something i am Not a Fan of they should atleast give them full Teams and fully evolved pokemon before that fight but No it's the 1 big Problem i have with Horizon the scaling is handled baddly 😅
I am telling you sandy shocks will appear and join the battle and get captured by Roy I am telling you [but seriously Roy needs to catch the sandy shocks]
You can think whatever you want but I disagree. it’s got a great compelling story, relatable characters and stellar fights! if you don’t wanna watch it, that’s fine but you’re missing out.

Why do I get a feeling? that Biar is going to write a book about the rising volt tacklers journey and it’s going to be titled horizons 1:05
We will come back to this comment at the end of the series
wow

Yeah! They got us good!
Roy didn't have any Pokeballs to catch Sandy Shocks which is rather unfortunate. He could've been the 3rd character in the anime to own a Paradox Pokémon
It would have been cool if it followed him at least too, then maybe Friede could have given him one. But yeah, shame really
Finally some person with common sense thought about Roy doesn’t have a pokeballs
@@TristanBonsi I just wish he had some. I mean, imagine the Pokémon he could’ve caught if he had pokeballs!
@liamtherobot9656 well, He became a trainer on an island, and not at a lab *Shrug*
@@TristanBonsi That was a low blow. Do you think he would just play volleyball with a pokeballs with a Pokemon, and then accidentally catch it?

Still waiting for that mega zygarde that's been leaked
Legend Z-A need to be released first then

Quaxwell carried that fight, due to it BEEG BRAIN
Ducky went in!
Didn't see Fredie in the preview helping. He's must be holding off Explorers want to ruin the plan from kids to obtain back Rayquaza.
Maybe so
Gouging Fire as a great aura in this episode.
He felt even stronger than the Entei the gang saw earlier in the serie.
A proper menace, I loved it!

Let’s go!
Absolutely splendid and stupendous video

Oh yeah pagogo into action tera form 😊
Super cool!
I’m gonna be so hype for that I’m still up in English
Stay tuned friend
Thank you buddy
Would be cool for Dot to capture a future paradox mon since she's the computer geek of the bunch
Yeah, I’m hoping maybe for Iron Bundle as it’s been shown in some merchandise. But yeah, we hope so
which future decent pokemon will she get that matches hers is a mystery at this moment.

Yeah, the laqua arc is definitely ending on a very high note! it’s a very good Series through and through.
Nice recap, I really enjoyed it
Thank yo! Glad you enjoyed!
This is going to be the grand finale of Pokemon horizons
Yep, and then we’ll wait a couple years and then some new protagonists will come. completely normal process
We shall see
What website do you get the episode titles and descriptions from?
Serebii forums
I don't know why but I m really getting desperate to see the starters evolve especially to see torch song and aqua step in the anime
I reckon it’ll happen maybe in Rakua
I thought at first pago power changed Entei into Gouging fire but turns out it was Gouging fire all along on a different note i hope that in the final Arc liko dot and roy get there fully evolved starters
We shall wait and see amigo
Man those upcoming episodes are going to be so great
They really are
@@ThePokeRaf Do you think we are approaching the 3 year timeskip mentioned in the leak? Maybe RVT are not able to stop whatever happens in Raqua?
This was so cool!!!! 😊😊😊😊
I know right! Such a good episode!
I have a feeling that amethio is going to catch a new legend suiting him
I come to this that we see legends in this series here and there
We have moltres technically from galar but also Kanto in a way
Entei from johto
Razaquaz from hoenn
No sinnoh no unova zygarde for kalos no alola and ofc paldea
If we are actually seeing these legendaries here and there ; I think there is room for darkrai a very suiting pokemon to him
And ofcourse amethio revolting against gibbon with only ceruledge and corviknight isn't easy
Hmm maybe!
We still need an arc with blueberry academy. The series might go all the way to 130 episodes
We’ll wait and see if if comes true
Love your content

Cap is so OP thunder punch is not very efwctive and it looks like it did a lot of damage
Combo with water
I wonder how long the writers planned for gouging fire to be one of the 6 heros.
Good question!
I see Dot more than likely getting Koraidon if possible
Absolutely not. Roy gets Koraidon, and Dot gets Miraidon
Gouging fire is so awesome and quite powerful.. can’t wait for Shiny Rayquaza next week I hope Roy takes charge since his goal is to catch Raquaza and I hope he gets to keep it although I have a feeling Lucius might be alive still…
Honestly it would be awesome if Crocalor evolves into Skeledirge during this battle and beats Shiny Rayquaza…
Also I hope Liko uses pagogo in battle
Let’s se how it goes! I think Liko will use Pagogo and oh gosh imagine if Crocalor did evolve with Roy catching Rayquaza! A double win for him 😂
@ that would be so crazy but awesome too
Is Horizons ending soon?
No idea

Peak cinema
Ya damn right!
I wish the pokémon anime was aimed at teens not kids
It’s aimed at everyone!
@ThePokeRaf Is it as worse a s Journeys or more mature? since I stopped to watch because of how much it was aimed at kids
I think it could have more mature themes, like mental blocks
I am telling you sandy shocks will appear and join the battle and get captured by Roy I am telling you [but seriously Roy needs to catch the sandy shocks]
If it doesn’t, I want you to catch Sandy Shocks and give it to him instead
I hate paradox pokémon
The battle was good in my opinion. Not to the level of hype as Ash-Greninja Vs Mega Charizard X but it’s good
Bruh
Fax
Or Pikachu vs Charizard
pokemon without ash and ash pikachu sucks
Not really
You can think whatever you want but I disagree. it’s got a great compelling story, relatable characters and stellar fights! if you don’t wanna watch it, that’s fine but you’re missing out.
