I went to study in Korea for half a year and the CVS are one of the best parts of living there 😅
If that 24/7 "honor" system ramen store was here in the states, all the ramen, kimchi, toppings, and 100% the eggs would all be gone in less then a day and with no money in the register.
Same with India 😬😬
The problem with these ramen stores is less about people stealing food and more about people using the space to eat other stuff while not paying for any ramen.
@ever_squish, that's amazing, because in the US, a place like that would be stripped clean in seconds (assuming it was in a major metropolitan area like NYC or LA.) So not only would all the food be stolen, so would all the equipment and furnishings.
I made this exact same comment on another video about Korean convenience stores. How sad of a culture we are.

Hey karissa i just wanted to say thank you, you may not know me but i've been struggling with an ED and its been getting hard to eat. But your videos really help seeing how much you enjoy food and how good it looks and you aren't focusing on calories and will eat it no matter. your videos really help me see that its okay to eat meals that you want, without any guilt. Me too, but with ARFID. I have difficulty with foods due to sensory issues and fear of taste. These vids really help me with developing positive view of food, and it feels less scary.

I freaking LOVE turtle chips. The are airy, crispy and just the most bestest texture ever
My Korean friend got me them from Hmart when i went to Texas and I was sus of it cause it said sweet corn flavor but I just couldn't stop eating it. Cleared the bag in less than 20mins 🤣
i used to get the truffle flavour in australia and it was sooo good! but they stopped selling it unfortunately

Seoul is the TOP of our foodie travel bucket list! These definitely blow our US convenience stores out of the water! Those turtle chips need to get in my belly - they look AMAZING. Chips + hot chocolate? YUM.
