I dont know if the size of the film sample makes a difference in the test. The crystalline film sample is like three times bigger and wrap to the side of the BTU meter. The Suntek sample is smaller and does not wrap around. Don't hear transfer to the side makes a difference too? Just my thought, respectfully.

Nope, that does not matter... as long as the little sensor was completely shaded by it.

Crystalline tint is impressive. I need that type of heat rejection here in Texas.

Thanks for the video. Great help. Did you notice a major diff between the cir and the 3m? Like was that 20 btu something you could actually feel or was it close enough.

If they were even close to being the same price product this would be an interesting test... but if anything, this is bad for 3M, cheap Suntek comes close enough to their performance that it makes the price difference look embarrassing.

Totally agree... But, 3M was the best for a while... now, however, XPEL Plus and Suntek are just as good (and have a better hue in my opinion.

Someone sold me suntek cxp and told me they installed ceramic, just for another tint shop to tell me its carbon and the guy lied..

Isn’t suntek ceramic suppose to have more heat rejection than the ceramic?

Yep that's why I put ceramic on instead of ceramic.

Dude use the same size samples before you do these fake tests. He uses tiny suntek samples up against big sheets of 3M and calls it a test.
