Adventures: “We need more monsters!!😡😡”
Wander: have some decorations and potions🙂
Reminds me a bit of the anime Dungeon People (currently ongoing, final episode tomorrow). That one is also about dungeon management, and they also have a system where they want adventurers to visit the dungeon. It's one of my favourite anime this season, so a game in the same vein could be interesting. I might give this game a try.
Sounds like the anime I’ve been searching for all my life. Thanks for the recommendation.
Meh... dungeon keeper is better ,also dungeon people anime is goated
Reminds me of all the dungeon stories on royal road, like someone saw the anime, read those stories and said: "Man this is untapped market, DONT kill the enemy, just beat 'em up and let them go again."
Remind me of the light novel dungeon life.
I kinda want to make the original Gary Gygax "f you players." tomb of annihilation lol Though dropping the whole floor and just instantly boiling them without even a save would probably be impossible.
I think the point of killing the loot goblin quickly might be more about the fact it steals money from the chests, which means the adventurers can't get it for happiness and spending money.
so hey so thats where that game devpoper for idle dungeon cralwer game web bowsser clicker game went too. i'm glad all of that game microtrasactions whent into fuding this much higer qaulty game. i know this art style it so noltalgic of my ealry web bowser gamer days bacly.
It does seem that the feedback could be a touch more granular, I'm thinking that the Big Leg corridor might have needed another chest for gold overflow. It's hard to tell what's needed for 100% happiness. I'm looking forward to finding out more.
The early "Respawn Visitors" quest is a bit annoying is it will just occupy one of your quest slots until such time as you get around to researching the respawner (which given the amount of choice of research could be some time away) but fortunately increasing your prestige will unlock extra quest slots which will alleviate this somewhat.
It would be really fun to see some adventures rolling onto the pots to break them
recette wants to know your location.
Who is recette?
@@bafumino297 pretty sure she's a dungeon explorer in a game
@@bafumino297 look up recettear.
@@bafumino297 I'm assuming they are referencing Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale?
Absolutely GOATed game
Wander, you certainly find cool stuff sir. Thank you
If I had to guess about Big Leg, I'd blame the potion price gouging.
Need more monsters and places to loot there to balance it out.
Hey Wander. I know these sponsored vids are new for you, and I'm all for you making a decent living!! Rock on. I would appreciate a little more transparency going forward though. Like, did you have any talking points to follow? Things they asked you not to talk about or show? That sort of thing. Or did they really just drop off a bag of cash and not tell you anything about the game or have opportunity see your opinion until after this video was made public? Up to you and your contract what you disclose of course, I just tend to skip sponsored videos unless the line between RUclipsr and sponsor is well defined up front.
It depends on the sponsorship. In this case they had zero stipulations or talking points apart from "release a video on the 26th", so everything I said in this video is as authentic as my usual faire. Well, except for me avoiding talking about my semi-crippling stomach issues that were plaguing me yesterday, since I figured that would be rather tacky.
I'll fully admit I tend to be softer in my critiques for developers that sponsor me, but I also will cancel a deal before promoting an explicitly bad game. Though obviously there's a lot of wiggle room for what makes a game good or bad that people might not agree with me on.
Some other sponsors tend to ask for things like:
* Stating release dates & times.
* Stating what platforms the game is releasing onto.
* Core features / mechanics that should be highlighted.
* Don't show past Chapter X or Boss Y / Make sure you record through Chapter Z.
* Avoid showing major bugs or glitches (which I report and usually see fixed prior to launch).
But rarely is it anything more than that.
I try to have roughly the same standards for every game I cover, sponsorship or no. The paid deal is mostly there so developers can guarantee coverage on X day at Y time, as there's always the potential that I might not cover their game in a timely fashion, or at all depending on how busy the launch window is.
For example: I have 6 equally high quality games listed on my to-do list for today, but because Goblinz reached out for a sponsorship for Dungeon Tycoon I was able to guarantee that one of the videos I release today is on Dungeon Tycoon. In fact, I likely will only release a full video for Dungeon Tycoon today as it's performing reasonably above average for the channel, and I'll be pushing back my coverage of the remaining 5 games by at least a day if not more so- which is less advantageous if they want release day/week coverage.
Not that I expect sponsorships to create videos, I likely would have covered many of these games on my own- but it would have been on my own terms & times.
@@wanderbots Sounds good! Thanks so much for the in-depth reply.
@@wanderbots not surprising, there have been updates, but I am surprised they did not say lock some of your chests to increase gold per day.
Oh hey I picked up the demo awhile ago! Pretty fun stuff :)
Click on a item in build mode, and a 4way green arrowed thing lets you move things after placing, then you can use R to rotate.
No one can buy potions whilst being attacked.
I really enjoyed this and it was so fun to watch! Definitely a game I', thinking about picking up and would be delighted if you wind up streaming it.
Pretty charming game!
If they had a sense of self preservation they wouldn't become an adventurer!
When moving the room you got reimbursed for the door that was removed.
