When you realizes the fact that the great intelligent Light Yagami was played by Ryuk. Ryuk only wanted to get over with his boredom and that last scene where Ryuk sitting on top of a tower in earth intead of going back to his world may suggest that he loved this game and may continue it by playing other humans. At the end Light Yagami was only a play toy for Ryuk .

You missed one point here. You forgot to mention what happened to Misa finally. By Ryuk's theory that any person who uses death note can neither go to heaven nor hell, were Misa, Teru and others who used the death note were all turned to Shinigamis?
Great work, superb explanation but you missed a major plot of how Gevanni got his hands over Teru's Death Note. Basically, light said to Teru not to use the real notebook till that date on which Near would call him to meet in open and will eventually reveal himself. That's why Teru placed the real notebook in his bank locker. But when Takada got kidnapped, the news got viral(because she was very popular being the spokesperson of Kira). Teru thought that now that is god Kira(Light) is helpless and was unknown to the fact that Light had a piece of paper of Death Note in his watch, Teru decides to go to bank which he used to go once in a month and also went there just a day before. Gevanni notices this abnormality and followed him. Luckily Teru scheduled Takada's death a minute later than that of scheduled by Light. So as per Light's timing, Takada burned herself exactly on time and Light had no point of suspection that Teru also used the notebook. Then Gevanni went into the bank, unlocks the locker and got the notebook. So yeah, Light failed because of Teru Mikami's marginal error. Fun fact: Gevanni was super talented and was able to create an exact copy of Death Note with perfection, even copying Teru's handwriting in just one night. Another One: When Light faced Near directly, Near was able to see the shinigami Ryuk which confirmed that he has the real notebook.
Correction at 13:23. Near changes the pages from the fake Notebook first on which LIGHT confirms that Near has fallen for his plan. But then due to Mikami's mistake it is revealed to Near that the real Notebook is in a bank locker and he changes it with a fake Notebook as well. So Near changes both the real and fake Notebook.
There is also another theory that L.worked alone more, thats why he lost the game against light but near and melo worked together at the end and won the game, even though melo has to give up his life.😢

Hi, I have watched Death Note animated series twice and want to add some important info you missed. 1. Shinigami gets the remaining life of the person they kill through death note, and if a Shinigami saves some human and dies then that Shinigami's remaining life gets added to the life of the person they saved. Misa was going to die by a thief but got saved by a Shinigami whose life gets added to Misa's life. Later Yem's life also gets added to Misa's life. 2. Light could kill anyone to reach his goals but L used only those criminals for his experiments who already got death sentence of the day on which L planned them to get killed. So L never killed randomly. 3. Near or N came to know about the actual death note when that prosecutor Kira Teru himself also went to take the real death note from bank locker to kill Takada who got kidnapped by Mellow. Light never asked him to do so as he himself killed Takada. Due to this mistake of Teru, Light got caught as Light never knew this and only got to know when N revealed this at the last episode. Mellow knew this kind of things will happen when he kidnapped Takada and Mellow sacrificed himself so that N can catch real Kira. Melow said this to N before he kidnapped Takada. Hi, I have watched Death Note animated series twice and want to add some important info you missed.
1. Shinigami gets the remaining life of the person they kill through death note, and if a Shinigami saves some human and dies then that Shinigami's remaining life gets added to the life of the person they saved. Misa was going to die by a thief but got saved by a Shinigami whose life gets added to Misa's life. Later Yem's life also gets added to Misa's life.
2. Light could kill anyone to reach his goals but L used only those criminals for his experiments who already got death sentence of the day on which L planned them to get killed. So L never killed randomly.
3. Near or N came to know about the actual death note when that prosecutor Kira Teru himself also went to take the real death note from bank locker to kill Takada who got kidnapped by Mellow. Light never asked him to do so as he himself killed Takada. Due to this mistake of Teru, Light got caught as Light never knew this and only got to know when N revealed this at the last episode. Mellow knew this kind of things will happen when he kidnapped Takada and Mellow sacrificed himself so that N can catch real Kira. Melow said this to N before he kidnapped Takada.
