This was already mentioned in the earlier preview, it's really nothing special basically every racing game ever has the same when designing liveries for your car
Please Please Please overhaul coaster construction! Switch tracks, multiple platform options (standard, constant moving, separate exit and entrance platforms, parallel alternating platform stations, etc...), maintenance depots with transfer tracks, dynamic coaster ops (as the que gets longer more coaster trains are added), better block section programing, and turn tables... That would be so awesome!
Don't forget a better smoothing tool, no anticipation on the onride camera (or at least make it toggleable), live g-force graph when designing a ride instead of having to test it and better support generation (that factors in forces and creates the supports according to those forces)
@@Boofski Yes, better smoothing is a must! Support options would also be cool. The way they clip through the ground and come out in tunnels underneath has always been a little frustrating to me. Or how coasters that have underground sections jump into the air when placed as blueprints.
Really nice but there are some nit picky kind of things that I hoped would be better like: •The rafts despawning in the pools •The fact that it looks like the rafts are on a fixed track on the slides •The fact that the bigger raft slides don’t have any banking on them •The fact that the stations are exactly the same as PC1 •No hotels even though one the themes is “resorts” •The ride areas still look masive •The way we still have the kiosk style stores instead of the planet zoo counter top variants •The way the drive tires are constantly spinning even when the train is not moving •All slides ending in public pools •The slide pieces having ridges on every 1M instead of 4-5M like in real life •The changing room design (basically the same as the toilets) •The coaster seem to have the exact same support system as they had in PC1 (which is good-ish but not that realistic) But other than that, everything looks really good!
That fixed track thing is going to stay, they won't design an entire physics engine for that one singular ride type, and it would also cause performance issues as those are a lot of calculations that the CPU needs to make for the physics
For the rest this list is spot on, if they add these things and a better smoothing tool, a better onride camera and live g-force mapping when designing a ride instead of having to test your coaster they can take all my money and then some

Really hope you guys revisited the fireworks system and make it more like RCT3 and not just a series of events with offset times. Having a timeline that displays length of firework effects and even the sound of the selected music, etc makes it much easier.

Gaming stalls... like the ring toss, frog flop, horse race water pistols, basketball shots, etc.. these all generate money and in real life are critical space fillers between attractions. Also "working" tables for outside restaurant spaces. Also i see that some rides are getting attach points for customizations. i hope each ride could have a "naked" version as well as a themed version. separate load unload platforms for tracked rides. so far the things i have seen are great improvements especially saving pathways as part of blueprints. also, right now shops and stalls just have customers come to the front, they need a version where a limited number of people disappear inside the shop for a time, like they do for the restrooms.

I hope instead of dumping people off into pools, we have a flume exit thing? Like with the little end cap. Because in RCT3 I’d be annoyed when people would jump into my 3ft wide X 8ft long pool dedicated to being the end of the slide 😂

A whole lot of likes for what you're showing us here! Had a nerdgasm when you displayed the draw tool. Finally! Easy, customizable pathing options!!! I know people made the most incredible things in PC1, but MY own issues were just getting stuck while trying to make parks initially with the paths & trying to make buildings to make the park more realistic. It looks like everything that has been a blockage for me has been greatly improved & I can't wait. Thank you!! And POOOOOLLLLS!!!
@@aplive58 in general. You still have to save the park and check out. But you dont have to upload it to steam anymore and update it all the time. So its just a way smoother workflow
This looks fantastic! One comment I'd have on the colouring of objects is that we need to have an indication of what each colour is changing on the ride/item. So have them labelled like supports, track etc
Very excited about coaster train customisation - that wasn’t something I’d thought about before, but it’s going to be a game changer. Can’t wait to see what the community create with these awesome tools!
Can we also see the return of the vintage and classic rides pack? Loop-da-loop, round the world, old hurricane (scrambler), zozo, paratrooper, round up, etc.? :) I wanna see all the old vintage and classic rides return. They were my favorite to mess around with in the game! “Free-flyer” I know all the rides in the game have different names to avoid legal trouble. But I love all these old rides from the first game!
The willingless of the team to show gameplay and actually talk about what they're making gives me a lot of hope that it'll be high quality. So many highly anticipated games stay radio silent until release and flop.
This is what the difference between a game made in 2016 is like compared to one coming out now! It’s great to see all the incredible customization! One of my favorite parts of planet coaster was creating rides and different themes from scratch, envisioning the creation and then having the tools to pull it off. This took it to a whole new level. So far this is (no pun intended) game changing. I haven’t been excited for a game like this in a while.
Will there be "accidents" where the Lifeguards need to act? Can the guest swim underwater? Adjust heights on sprinboards? What type of games can the guests play? (waterpolo, surfing, paddleboarding, arranged races etc)
All this game needs is the ability to make the flat-rides via an editor. Like, place an arm, then a motor that turns it, then an arm again, and a swivel, then a seat pod ontop of it. If we got something like that, I'd never stop playing
I'm glad I subscribed to this channel years ago. By the way, with all these great new pathing tools... could we get a mini-golf course, please? Also, when placing decorations on a ride, could we get a list of RGB values that are already used in that coaster? That way, we can keep a consistent theme without going back and forth all the time?
I'm unsure if this will work but it'd really be great if you could design and place things from the POV or First Person Views, and if there were a way to swap between 2 camera set ups. Like have an A and a B camera that you can toggle between so that you could get tiny details sorted out and get a big view quickly to come back to.
Tons of customization is something that means a lot for me! I really hope you can create guests (like single guests, groups/familys, couples, etc.), like in RCT3, along with more customization like tons of haircuts to choose from, clothing and swimwear, as well as preferred rides/intensity and also maybe relationships? It would also be cool to be able to control one of these guests. There's tons of potential! I wonder if you can also make deep pools, where guests can dive underwater, perhaps also a way to make the normal water swimmable and add SCUBA/snorkeling stuff? Would fit pretty well to this game!
Idea 💡 Parades build floats outta the pieces than connect to a path that can over the path have a staff building that holds the floats and mascots can connect to
Hopefully you can expand and make the parks bigger and not limited with detail and customization because the first limited so much how much you can do with expansion
Would love to see Carnie games. Kid pool areas with jungle gyms and little water slides and big bucket water drops. More vanilla base game rides. Love the fact they will have a pool part to the game giving your parks a nice water area theme. Maybe more smaller stuff like little rc boat or car areas in a small square. People eating at restaurants. Interactive shows, arcades.
Please make it possible to build narrower paths than 4m. Narrower paths are really great for ride exits, and the 4m ones caused lots of trouble in previous builds.
Hope we'll be getting hotels back! Especially because we're getting a "resort" decoration pack and the trailer made it seem like hotels would be in the game because of that.
I must admit I've never played Planet Coaster, but this all looks stunning and really inviting to try once it's out there. Improving far and wide on the good old days of RCT.
Please add - load & unload coaster stations - Normal stores/shops and not just the kiosk type ones - the rafts look like they are on a fixed track, like the bobsleds in the first game, please change that if you can - the changing rooms are basiclly just the toilet facility other then that, im so excited for the new game, i have about 700 hours on pc1
I'm so happy and exited for this game! The pathing being overhauled is going to feel so refreshing and I loved how you can merge blueprints and paths into other pathed areas! Awsome.
If there’s one ride type I’d love-love-love for planet coaster 2, it’s the Vekoma Madhouse. I could imagine it’s hard to implement, but with flat ride customisation being a thing, I can only imagine how fun it is to build a room for the attraction and than synch the motions with music and special effects. Other themes flat rides would be great too, like the upcoming Intamin Dynamic Motion Stage, but the Madhouse would be my number one.
Excited about the pathing in general but would love to see how pathing works in combination with (grid) buildings as that was one of my main issues with PC. I would love to see walkable and non-walkable floor pieces so we don't have to mess around with pathing inside buildings.
YAY! I can't wait to play. This will be my first Planet Coaster! Will the music be copyright free so if we make content for RUclips it won't get flagged? Or would you recommend turning off in game music? Thanks so much!
omg the coaster train design idea is definelty one of the best ideas frontier has had but we NEED SMOOTHER TRACK BUILDING BETTER POV CAMERA CUSTOM BLOCK ZONES SWITCH TRACK AND SWING LAUNCHES
Happy to see the improvement on paths and shaping custom scenery. Also to move paths along with the attraction. Hopefully also moving whole project including paths. Not sure this option is possible. Custominazion on rides is simply a bonus. Very nice improvements so far. Good work Frontier
Frontier.... You guys are my favourite game developers.... every game you have released i have purchased, some on more than one system 😂. You just keep on amazing me with your hard work.... Thankyou very much from a huge Frontier supporter 😊
Most important thing for me is whether it will start lagging once your park gets bigger even with a juggernaut pc? Rct3 had this problem as did pc1. Otherwise whats the point having the super massive map size (obviously understand for consoles though)
if there would be a Multyplayer for like 2-4 people so u can play on the same world at the same time this game would explode and it would go Viral trust me on this one it would go crazy put work in it !!!!!!!!! but until now great process on the series 👍❤
You are missing the point...people don't want to just put up a facade of hotel/resort/whatever....yes in certain scenarios they do...but some want to build like a full hotel/resort. So that illuison doesn't end after you go past the door or the wall. Alot of great stuff but I'm just interested in sandbox. I could care less about franchise mode. Again I would love the option of ADULTS ONLY , custom staff (can be dlc), staff gets vehicles to ride through park (again another dlc). Build proper hotel/resort/whatever can be another dlc. I am sure you are already loaded with ideas for dlc.
Agreed, even if the thing was simply cosmetic, I don't want *only* a flat front facade, I'd rather there was a larger cosmetic building behind it. As it it with the facade, I'll have to just fill it in with trees or something behind it.
With the new time system it would be cool to have different businesses levels through the week and to have transfer tracks and have them set for a different number of trains for each day of the week
Thank GOD they added mirroring to ride customisation. Such a small thing but will save HOURS.

There is collaboration? HUGE WIN! Can't wait to buy this on Xbox.
Collab yes but not working at the same time
@@Homebanner666 On the same piece or in general?
@@aplive58 in general. You still have to save the park and check out. But you dont have to upload it to steam anymore and update it all the time. So its just a way smoother workflow
@@Homebanner666 I see. Darn. Still hyped.
Does anyone know if the Cable Car is confirmed as a means of transport for Planet Coaster 2 ❓ For visitors to reach the other side of the park .
This looks fantastic! One comment I'd have on the colouring of objects is that we need to have an indication of what each colour is changing on the ride/item. So have them labelled like supports, track etc
Hope they improved the camera pov when editing under ground level or in close confined spaces.
You should add that you can customize in the size of the space
Defienetely need dedicated slide exits/splashdowns instead of the RCT3 style public pool exits
3:00 stations looking the same is kinda disapointing. Still hope for multiple stations per coaster
4:08 I love how it’s called a “Grand Coasters Worldwide” Wooden coaster. GCI reference!
Pls make it so you can choose texture on the primitives and queue lines can go further then the end of queue paths
I'm unsure if this will work but it'd really be great if you could design and place things from the POV or First Person Views, and if there were a way to swap between 2 camera set ups. Like have an A and a B camera that you can toggle between so that you could get tiny details sorted out and get a big view quickly to come back to.
Will we be able to build very large parks while keeping a stable fps?
Tons of customization is something that means a lot for me! I really hope you can create guests (like single guests, groups/familys, couples, etc.), like in RCT3, along with more customization like tons of haircuts to choose from, clothing and swimwear, as well as preferred rides/intensity and also maybe relationships? It would also be cool to be able to control one of these guests. There's tons of potential!
I wonder if you can also make deep pools, where guests can dive underwater, perhaps also a way to make the normal water swimmable and add SCUBA/snorkeling stuff? Would fit pretty well to this game!
Idea 💡 Parades build floats outta the pieces than connect to a path that can over the path have a staff building that holds the floats and mascots can connect to
Ngl I thought frontier was dead since we didn’t get any updates on the game for a while but happy to see my first ever steam game return
Please add drop trash and switch track and make it so u can build like a swing coaster like pantheon
I own the first one as well.
If you ask me, Parkitect is the real Roller Coaster Tycoon successor.
Planet Coaster 2 probably doesn't stand a chance.
Please add
- load & unload coaster stations
- Normal stores/shops and not just the kiosk type ones
- the rafts look like they are on a fixed track, like the bobsleds in the first game, please change that if you can
- the changing rooms are basiclly just the toilet facility
other then that, im so excited for the new game, i have about 700 hours on pc1
Exciting improvements, glad to see features added, not removed.
I'm so happy and exited for this game! The pathing being overhauled is going to feel so refreshing and I loved how you can merge blueprints and paths into other pathed areas! Awsome.
I love the water slides
If there’s one ride type I’d love-love-love for planet coaster 2, it’s the Vekoma Madhouse. I could imagine it’s hard to implement, but with flat ride customisation being a thing, I can only imagine how fun it is to build a room for the attraction and than synch the motions with music and special effects. Other themes flat rides would be great too, like the upcoming Intamin Dynamic Motion Stage, but the Madhouse would be my number one.
That pathing is AMAZING!!
Excited about the pathing in general but would love to see how pathing works in combination with (grid) buildings as that was one of my main issues with PC. I would love to see walkable and non-walkable floor pieces so we don't have to mess around with pathing inside buildings.
They should add Escalator
Can’t wait to play this on my PC
I didn't play the first Planet Coaster, I am really looking forward to trying this one when it comes out!
YAY! I can't wait to play. This will be my first Planet Coaster! Will the music be copyright free so if we make content for RUclips it won't get flagged? Or would you recommend turning off in game music? Thanks so much!
lfg you can put paths in blueprints now
Please show the Coaster builder
omg the coaster train design idea is definelty one of the best ideas frontier has had but we NEED SMOOTHER TRACK BUILDING BETTER POV CAMERA CUSTOM BLOCK ZONES SWITCH TRACK AND SWING LAUNCHES
Im excited for flat rides to create a fair or carnival style park
Coaster train customization?! Okey guys you deserve the world
Thank you to all the team at Frontier
Happy to see the improvement on paths and shaping custom scenery. Also to move paths along with the attraction. Hopefully also moving whole project including paths. Not sure this option is possible. Custominazion on rides is simply a bonus. Very nice improvements so far. Good work Frontier
Oh... in PC1 it needed more kiddy rides. Are there kiddy rides included?
Frontier.... You guys are my favourite game developers.... every game you have released i have purchased, some on more than one system 😂. You just keep on amazing me with your hard work.... Thankyou very much from a huge Frontier supporter 😊
Most important thing for me is whether it will start lagging once your park gets bigger even with a juggernaut pc? Rct3 had this problem as did pc1. Otherwise whats the point having the super massive map size (obviously understand for consoles though)
if there would be a Multyplayer for like 2-4 people so u can play on the same world at the same time
this game would explode and it would go Viral
trust me on this one it would go crazy put work in it !!!!!!!!!
but until now great process on the series 👍❤
Please please please add a beach gradual edge to the pools, a beach slope wave pool is NEEDED
With the new time system it would be cool to have different businesses levels through the week and to have transfer tracks and have them set for a different number of trains for each day of the week
Hope at some point they'll add in actual working Sideshows and arcade games.
Omg I cannot wait to play this. Everything that was frustrating in Planco 1 is made to be much easier in 2.
