It's so weird how much I love medical asmr. You'd think it would be anxiety provoking if I'm in need of medical attention... But something about being the subject of someone else's complete and total attention is so comforting.
I agree I'm diagnosticated with anxiety when I was 15 Years old and Jim ASMR help me to stay calm and It makes me feel really good, suporting and conforting, but when he check my heartbeat, I feel like I'm going to have tachycardia, I don't think the worst or I just get upset for no reason. But then I relax with the good medical atention.
There are always three questions that run through my head when I watch Jim’s videos: 1) how is this so good? 2) is this going to scare the crap out of me? 3) is this going to make me fall in love with Jim?
Oh, and the answers usually are: 1) well, he’s just so talented 2) Uhm let me read the description, nah, it seems like I can handle it 3) just a tiny bit
This brought back memories of when I wrecked my car, though the paramedics on the scene didn't have quite the nice bedside manner that Chris has. The sense of urgency in the beginning set the whole tone of the video. The smiles, small chuckles, gentle reassurances and never leaving my side were very comforting. The ambiance set by the material sounds, the rain in the background, and the light triggers made for a lovely experience. And Jim, even if you are not a paramedic or EMT, you have the illusion perfected and I say, well done! When I was younger and worked in the food industry, Paramedics, EMT and police officers always knew that their meals were on me. I know it wasn't much but at the time, it was the only way I could show my appreciation for the demanding work they did. Next round of pay, I'll hit that donate link. Thank you, Jim for shouting out to these individuals who put themselves out there to take care of the rest of us!
I've been an EMT for a few years now and honestly that's about the best gift that you could offer, it's much appreciated. We often don't get breaks or barely any time to eat, and if at all it's mostly snacking on our way to the next call. Nobody likes to work while hangry so it's a blessing when we get real food 😂
Took me a bit to get through this one. Brought me back to 1996 when someone ran a red light in the rain and smashed into my car. Hit me so hard it pushed the engine back & shoved the dashboard/steering column through my lap. My ankle was cracked against the break pedal I had attempted to press. I had an old 1987 Plymouth Horizon. No airbags back then. My forehead hit the top of the steering wheel, resulting in 2 black eyes that eventually swelled shut. Seatbelt helped me, but bruised me badly. That was one hell of a night, but one thing I remember clearly was the kind EMP that held an umbrella over me and wiped the blood from my face. His voice was calm and steady. I swear it was the only thing that stopped me from completely freaking out. I remember laughing once I was in the ambulance because I realized I had on a t-shirt covered in happy faces that said "Have a nice day. " Great video and a great big thank you too all EMP and medics out there.

Mine is quite difficult to understand to some and I often have to repeat several times what I’ve said so I don’t think it’s that attractive to repeat the same thing 4 times before someone understands. Some British accents are very attractive to me tho, not many but there’s some. My accent sometimes sounds like an Aussie, when I say my name (Kai) my accent makes me say it like an Australian would. 😅 It sounds a bit like “Koai” like if you went to say Koala and then decided to scrap la and add an i.
@@todorokisfavouriteobject9109 I mean, a lot of people do find things they cannot immediatly understand pretty intriguing.
My go to for sleep and acute stress🥰
This is the only thing I listen to, to get to sleep. Please make more like this one!
This is an incredibly relaxing video. It’s put me to sleep for the past week or so😭🫶🏾
You should do like a in and out of consciousness while rescuing us! Nice work loved it!

Well, he definitely got the essence of English weather...rain all the time 😂
The rustling jacket sounds are so good! And you have a lovely mouth, if that’s okay to say here, I hope it’s not a creepy comment. It’s just you’re so good to look at, along with listening to, of course; the whole package. Much Agape ❤to you!

You deeply remind me of Reece Shearsmith. Great video! :)
please do more chris videos ❤️❤️🩹❤️
Lovely work as always Jim! I have a request, and I think it would be right up your alley: roleplay as Blackbeard from Our Flag Means Death. You could also do another one as Stede Bonnet, very different vibe but he has such a comforting manner :) I would be so delighted to see your interpretation 🏴☠️❤️
I discovered you a little while ago jim Chi and I love your acting you have an incredible talent your acting scares me so much they are realistic
and i love it 😂it could
to be super interesting an acting of bruno in Encanto one day .ho and my English is disgusting I am French😅😂

bro i have been bleeding out for 24mins. did you forget to call the Ambulance?
I remember a while ago you did a roleplay parodying metal bands. Have you ever thought about doing a video based on the band Ghost? I feel like you'd portray Papa perfectly.
Nice to see a fellow Ghost fan here
@@bluesoup1240 I just came off the high from seeing the ritual in London on Monday night. I've been on a Ghost binge for the past 3 months lmao
@@frankfurhter ack, I’m so jealous! I caught them during the pre-Impera with Volbeat. Which was great of course, but not nearly long enough! Anxiously awaiting for them to come back to the US.
@@frankfurhter OMG did you get to see resurrected Papa Nihil then?! My last ritual was this past February in the US with Volbeat (like @Blue Soup ).
@@bluesoup1240 Hallo! Another Ghost fan here! (tried to include you in my reply to Frank, so scroll around till you find it)
When asked to cough, you know I gotta cough copiously and as much as possible to annoy the party who asked c:
