  • White-naped Tit is endemic to India and is found in two disjunct populations in western India and southern India. It is classified as vulnerable due to lack of scrub forests and nesting cavities made by wood peckers. The nest cavities made by yellow crowned woodpeckers and copper smith barbets are preferred on Boswelia serrata and Salvadora persica trees.
