this league is incredible.. a great mix of extremely physical play, mediocre teams, poor referring and sometimes surprising quality
And a woeful lack of respect for the game. Especially from spectators and coaches

Ref needs to use his cards more early to prevent this kind of stuff

One of the worst refs ever. Did not play one time further when the team was still on the ball.
He missed at least 2 penalties. He robbed the Croats of 2 clear goal scoring opportunities. He missed yellow card challenges that he didn't even call for a free kick. And that's just some of his mistakes.

you know what might've been nice, like a timer. it not necessarily should be like exact game time but at least a rough representation, like we're in a 60 or 90+
especially when it's a close game like this, I always wonder how much in-game time left

Man that ref had some pretty bad calls man, I feel for the Croatian team cause they could've scored if the ref had played advantage when he should've like 4 times. And that one linesman called an offside that was no where near offside lol.

I feel like that should’ve been a penalty. Yes the keep got the ball. But it was the follow through after with his trialing leg. That’s 100 percent penalty. Must control body movement after a challenge.
Exactly. Challenge is clean but that follow through is dangerous. Should be a pen and a yellow card for the keeper

That challenge was just like Pickford’s tackle. Def should’ve been a penalty.
@@tsubasakishi6926 the difference with Pickford tackle is was van dijk was offsides, so the under the laws of the game that tackle is non punishable since he was off before the tackle. Unfortunate situation but it was the right call

14mns30 = ref is blind (both are)
15mns20 = best tackles of the game followed by some of the poorest officiating I have ever seen in my life.
Otherwise a great game. A must watch for any football fan.

3:36 that’s a 100 percent a pen. Yes the initial challenge is clean but the follow through is dangerous asf. A pen and a yellow card for the gk should have been the call.

League 1 wouldnt let that happen unfortunately. CSL is known as a rogue league. League 1 is an "official" league.

Games like these are why retention rates for new refs are so low here in the States

9:45 - I believe you are highlighting the wrong pass that was flagged for offside & technically the AR should have followed the runner back to his half and flag where he played the ball. The original pass was @ 9:41 and the croatian forward was in an offside position when the ball was kicked (allegedly as we do not have a shot from that angle) and thus even though he played the ball in his half he still was guilty of an offside offense. You can hear them yelling at the AR "How?" & "offside, offside, offside" prior to the highlighted pass being played.
good eye! I never considered it was that pass at 9:41. I mean I have my doubts if that was the kick the AR flagged for but it very well could have been.

90% of horrible games, fights and injuries on small leagues are caused by bad refs but the Croatia team here is just mediocre

THIS IS supposed to be higher than house league . Depending on the day & teams playing, the games can be bad to really good in terms of quality
