Sure, Aman, we will inform you, if we make a video about RVDT in future. Thanks & Regards, MagicMarks Support Team
so the core that is depicted in the video is normally attached to a small cylinder in the outside world, this is what is used to measure distance. let's say we have an LVDT on a table and i push on the cylindrical rod sticking out of the LVDT, this rod internally is connected to the core which will linearly change the EMF on the secondary coils resulting in a change of voltage measurable on the two secondaries. This voltage is also linearly related to displacement, so normally one will measure this voltage which implies a distance. When shopping for LVDT's this makes more sense, like an LVDT might have the specs of outputting a DC voltage between 0-10VDC and a full stroke (or how far the core can travel) of 20mm. So, using this LVDT we can measure 2mm of displacement overall with a resolution of 20mm/10VDC or 5mm displacement for every 1volt of electric potential measured off the secondary windings. Please someone correct me if i'm wrong, also i'm sorry if i confused more than helped

But when the core stops at the secondary coil for a long time, there should be zero voltage which leads to unknown position. Correct?
Also, LVDT is an active transducer as oppose to what he said that it's a passive transducer.
