tbh the timeline is simple enough for anyone to watch the series in upload order and understand we jumped from 1992s to 2009 then back to the 1992s and again to 2009.

So excited to see you continue the series and I hope that despite the scares you and the homies keep up with it, it’s imo one of the best online series to come out of the last decade.
For every time she decides to put on captions when there’s only autogenerated ones, she forgets to when there’s actual captions with hidden messages lol
So true. I thought it would be captions like back in other videos where sometimes they are early and spoil what’s being said. Which can ruin a scary experience :3 I’ll have it on for the next one
The way to not be scared by horror is realizing that unless it’s some true crime stuff, it’s a production. Its appreciating the technical skill needed to make a shot, or imagining a man in a rubber suit eating lunch.
That's a cultural thing. For some people, it's the men inside the rubber suits that are scary to begin with.
Sort of like how the Jigsaw puppet isn't really scary (just off-putting at best), but getting locked in an elaborately built torture basement was scary enough to make SAW compete with The Grudge when they both released.
I feel like getting scared of horror media is an essential part of enjoying it cause it basically means you're immersed in the experience and not just seeing it as a production from outside perspective
@@rasna2212 It'd be like focusing on an author's writing flair and not the story itself. Appreciating what goes into making the art is certainly important, but getting totally immersed in the author's narrative that you sometimes forget it's not real is the magic of story telling.
I feel like that kinda defeats the whole point of horror/thriller media though?
I think this is why Mandela Catalogue is so scary to begin with. There is no man in a rubber suit, and the whole thing was made from a phone. The horror here is created from your imagination, and the context of the situation, not anything we can physically look at. And just imagining yourself in a situation like Mar's or Adam's is incredibly horrifying.
Can we open a petition for them to react to Wendigoon's explanation video of Mandela Catalogue after they finish the series to see how much they missed xD.
P.S. it might have been my bad hearing but did anyone else struggled with hearing the video?
to me the video was also very silent too, they should make the next reaction have a louder video if they do another together
She always has the video's volume lower than hers. It's always hard to hear the videos she watches. I always hate that I have to increase my device's volume high enough to hear the video but my ears will still get assaulted by her loud voice whenever she screams, yells, or shouts. She needs to figure out how to balance this honestly.
Doesn't help that there's always at least one person, and usually more than that, talking over all the audio.
Gonna lay out some recommendations
There's the "monument mythos" stuff also analog horror though a fair bit different with the subject of monsters
Xploshi has some excellent animations so I'd say "soulcorp shopping channel" best fits a similar vibe
Second to last THE AMAZING DIGITAL CIRCUS: PILOT less creepy and more comedy based but it was directed by a prominent animator who makes odd and creepy animations on RUclips gooseworx
Though leaning more towards horror by gooseworx's I'd say either little runmo or blue channel (blue channel is probably the closest to analog horror)

I honestly think after finishing Mandela Catalogue you should take a look at Vita Carnis. It's another analogue horror series, but very different from any others I have seen. It would make for great content.
analog horror is some of the best stuff out there. it's spooky as hell. get a blanket, a plushy, and get ready to duck and cover under those.

Yeah, "reaction video" more like talking with the homies while a video plays. RUclips has a pause feature for a reason.
i don’t usually comment on any videos but I’ve never seen anybody react to this and always have wanted to watch a reaction to it so I highly recommend listening to “i'm a guard stationed at a secret government prison” it’s a creepy pasta written story made by The Dark Somnium who makes a lot of stuff like this. it feels like a mix of an scp report and an anime, I listened to it when it was coming out and now it even has a single video cut into parts to make it easier to cut into parts each about 20 or so minutes on average. I think you’ll enjoy it seeing as you have been enjoying scp stories and the like. It very much so has a scp feel to it especially in the beginning. There’s also a few anime and game Easter eggs. Love the vids and keep that sweet sweet content coming in Alicia!
In case you are wondering Adam and Jonah’s names are inspired from the Bible.
- Adam was tempted by the serpent to eat the forbidden fruit from the Tree of Knowledge and was punished for it. Adam Murray went down to the basement because he wanted to find out what’s down there.
- Jonah was commanded by Jesus to go to a city but refused him and ran away only to fall into the ocean and swallowed by a whale. Jonah Marshall tried to warn Adam to not go down stairs but then they started arguing leaving Adam behind and Jonah fleeing.

This comment won’t matter because it’s about me, but I just want to say something about how I clean my ears.
I clean my ears w/ Qtips. I always knew it was not good for me since 5 years or so ago, but my mom always uses Qtips for ear cleaning, and she says “if you push the Qtip directly in the center of your ear, it’ll avoid the wax.” Which I highly doupt that’s how it works or whatever, but I still clean with Qtips to this day because of my mom.

Another analog horror series that's really really good the Monument Mythos by Mister Mantacore I'm gonna keep suggesting it. It's a bit less scary more creepy IMO with a lot of mystery.

The next time you're in the mood for a long video, I recommend The Rolling Giant (The Oldest View Part 3). It's a 45 minute watch, but I don't think there's a better atmospheric horror video on this platform.
Also I highly recommend just binging the supplemental Mandela Catalogue videos in a single go.

Like others have said if you continue this series, PLEASE watch the other videos aside from the Volume videos. They add much needed context as to the story and the alternates. "Overthrone," "Intruder Alert," etc. The T.H.I.N.K. Principle is just the same video incorporated into Volume 1 with minor differences (Just to show the viewer the alternates have messed even with law enforcement official material. To further demonstrate how much control they have.) Loving the reactions from you and your pals! Can't wait to see more reactions to Mandela stuff!

I know there are a good amount of comments saying this but the more comments the more likely you'll see it so basically. Overthrone, Intruder Alert, Metaphysical Awareness Disorder, Exhibition = important lore you should check them out
Also there's another analog horror series that I think you would hate- I mean like called gemini home entertainment
Sadly, I think the plague of hollywood horror is afoot. They are expecting jumpscares at every turn, when the true horror is the lore and the idea the events represents. It's the equivalent of playing SOMA for the monsters. This is not a knock against Alicia, but rather a rant as to what the horror genre has become.
This is scary and there are plenty of more scary things I can't wait for you to watch. Though if I may I would recommend ENA. Though I would also recommend bringing a friend and having some water to drink as it is one heck of a ride and you might get overwhelmed.
If you want to want very creepy series of videos, I recommend vita carnis (or something along those lines) it genuinely scared me and I recommend having someone near by, some scenes are disturbing

If possible please watch the Fnaf vhs series. Most don’t have any real connection to the dang lore but do take bits and pieces just so it can make sense. My favorite creator has to be ReachAnimations. His vhs have a mix between the Mandela Catalogue and vhs stories.

If i could make a request for the future though, it's really hard to hear/understand the video between you guys and the video's volume being low itself. Idk anything about sound or video production, but maybe it'd be possible for some type of mixing to even it out? Regardless love the content.
