I also loved that flat - it had character even when Corrie first goes in there and there is no furniture. I would be very happy with that flat and being on the top floor, even with all those stairs to climb.
I also loved Mr Velasco's flat, with the screens and kimonos and interesting music: Charles Boyer was wonderful in that film (and ofcourse, the wonderful Mildred Natwick). I also loved the scene where they have had a row and the telephone man comes to repair the line - when Paul goes to pour himself a drink, the phone man thinks he (Paul) is going to hit him, and cowers against the wall!! So many funny moments in this wonderful film.
Whilst eating something that looks delicious and makes me hungry (and I would also always have the obligatory ketchup, depending on what I am eating, ofcourse!!).
You want a drink? Who?? You! Me?? Yeah! No right!
Redford and Fonda.💖 One of my favorite movies!
"It's Aunt Harriet." "I don't have an Aunt Harriet."
I think it's one of the best movies ever, too! : ) They don't make 'em like they used to.
I Love Fonda.
I have been a huge fan since the 1960s.
