this was very encouraging! I love your heart for God. I really doubt we will “fully” able to trust God in this lifetime. we have being faulty human beings the reason for this… but I believe a good measure of trust we have in the Lord is based on the peace he gives us. as we grow in this relationship with Him, that peace will increase because our trust has increased. interestingly, God’s limitless peace and security will always be there to keep us going. “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33 KJV) Jesus is real and His peace is real!
What does 'God' mean to you? I am not very versed in the Bible. But, to me He means to let go of the past and future and focus on the present. When adversity strikes - something I cannot control at all - I look to Him to ground me in my emotions and I must find the way that makes me at peace with my life. An example of this for me was birth. I knew I was going to be OK, but did I really? It was the closest I've ever felt to Him. the Serenity prayer: God grant me the Serenity to accept the things I can't change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom the know the difference. This is my favorite prayer.
I would call myself a Bible believing Christian, so God to me is the creator of the universe and of us. Our father. But yes you are right, I struggle so much with letting go of the past, feeling shame for past mistakes etc. I’ve found so many good prayers the last couple days, I’m going to add this one to my list I made and read them everyday! Thank you 🫶🏻
In a youtube world LITERALLY FULL of make up/hair/vanity things videos, I find them so boring, and so much more interesting videos that talk about faith and the realtionship with God.. Internet is full of vanity idols videos, so I really appreciate a girl talking about God, being myself a christian girl. Go on girl ❤😊 For the economic struggle.. I live in Italy where a couple without children can Not live without both working.. So the solution is always to find a job, a second job , etc.. 😢
Manifesting and all the new age world is demonic and come from the devil himself. She is christian now, so of course she left that things. Being christian myself, I am so happy for her 😊❤
