Kunsthalle 60 - The House's Tale

The result of a film workshop showing the transformation of an old factory of mining machinery to an inclusive artist house in the former industrial area of Kalk, Cologne. The building is an open house with studios, workshops, an academy as a place of education, for artists “with” and “without” disabilities. At the same time a café and canteen and an open learning and meeting room are created for the whole neighbourhood. The design was made in collaboration with the association 'X-SÜD' and the already existing artist house 'KAT 18'. The course 'Kunsthaus Kalk' was held in Bergen Arkitekthøgskole during the spring semester 2021.
