"YG is really good at putting the best clothes on their artist." Probably the best analogy I've heard in awhile. YG never fails to make a very cohesive group. I was nervous how YG would do with a group this big but as we can all see, each member manages to shine on their own. While many other groups are trying out clothes to see which one fits, YG groups come out with the best custom fits already on.
I'm so amazed at how he put it into words. Waaa. That is so on-point.
YG the first company that give their artists high brand for their costum. Before idol made their own costum and YG changed it.
Omg same thoughts … usually groups with more than 5 its hard to dress nicely and make them all stand out but for treasure the surprised me … I will never doubt yg again T.T
Yg artist is singer, rapper, dancer, songwriters, producer, actor, model gosh all rounded flooding with creativity.
I agree I was flabbergasted when he said that because it’s true. I was nervous too but when they finally debuted, I was amazed. YG really pulled through on this concept. Winner and Ikon have a big influence on their music where as Treasure doesn’t as much (yet). Everyone says how YG can’t do this or that but they’re proving a point by showing people exactly what they want. A carbon copy of your typical (poppy) boy group that has already exceeded standard expectations with 12 members.
We want also Treasure to become popular in Korea. We are praying and hoping that day will happen. Thank you for reacting to this. We really appreciate it a lot. Please be with Treasure in this journey until they will become a Successful artist. Thank you again.

Sonepeiple may have been slewping on them , haters draghing them but treasure has now gain so many loyal fans in their 1 month career and this is something to be proud of! Lets just be humble and ignore haters cause we know this group is talent, hardwork and An image of inspirations!
It can take some time and we must be patient. Think about all the artist who debut several years ago and still dont have a win. I think treasure will have a win within the first year. Fighting
Uhm, just realized this. YG started the trend of idols producing and so a lot of next generation kpop groups tried hard to copy that formula as well. But when everyone else is trying for that formula, YG is bringing back the original idol standard (and a great one at that) through Treasure (the group has their own composers and lyricist, though). I’m talking about production and direction wise for Treasure.
same for when BLACKPINK wears the hanbok all of sudden others are wearing hanboks, except for BLACKPINK's case they actually made waves with it as they performed with it on Stephen Colbert. And of course the other groups try to copy it, not blaming the groups but the stylists who keep copycatting BLACKPINK.
Same thought Sis....same realization....i also noticed that...every group now has YG vibe in it like hard rapping trying to be swaggy (but of course YG artists have top level when it comes to swag) the sound is techno edmjust like YG, so i noticed they want Treasure to start a new trend again in Kpop and im here for it

@ Joy Kook Also btw Both MVs came out in the same year But BlackPink came out in June and BTS came back in August. Theres only 2months difference there, comebacks usually take longer and planning goes into it a lot so I don’t think they would have saw and done the same. Tho yea after these two groups other MVs I see have more traditional elements In them recently now (Like ONEUS-Lit and A.C.E 도깨비).
I LOVE how TREASURE is out here re-defining some of the misconceptions abt groups under YGE. Theyre serving not just great live vocals/rap but intense in sync choreo x 12 & their personalities, visuals & just their overall appearance offers a whole new vibe in YGE. It's amazing.TREASURE is like the rainbow in YGE istg. They have the softness & swag in em that's well balanced - they didnt even have to act it out. They have it all. They can even trick u whenever theyre on stage. The 12 cute babies turn into 12 stage monsters when the music comes on.The fact that they’re only 1 month old group but every stage they perform they aways improve. Like seriously these boys are monster rookies. Their live vocals, face expressions, powerful synchronization and the way they grab audience attention it’s all perfectly done.

This is what I've actually seen in some new groups and some 1-2yrs old group. They accelerated fast without polishing their roots, resulting to not making their own brand solely to their group. Amidst with all groups debuting in kpop, you need to have a unique color to set you up above among the rest. In which YG is really good at, when they debut a group, you can easily differentiate them from their own debuted groups. So when you mix them with groups from other companies, you can already set them apart.

I couldn’t agree more, they have their own unique ways and style. The songs “BOY” and “ILY” have unique vibes which is no other 4th gen group have. And the colours of their voices so harmonies, and so much more. I’m waiting for their next comback on chp 3. I want more for them. They surprise us with different types of music but still BOP and LIT. Hahaha

Yes I agree! But nowadays SM is also bringing new music style for a kpop genre.. Their new songs are experimental even before but their production value now is so good too! Their new music style now is really ahead of their time too esp for Nct, Superm, Red velvet and new exo songs.. it's sad because i saw korean comments in their platform and they have lots of dislikes because they're from YG.. they dont even know who treasure r but they dislike it purely because they're from YG, it will take quite some time :')

I have watched videos of random koreans reacting to treasure and some stated that treasure's music style isnt really their cup of tea. Even blackpink's debut (boombayah) wasnt really huge compared to winner (empty) and ikon (my type) because of the edgy vibe of music

Yes! I agree with everything. I really like YGs approach at marketing treasure. It’s definitely different. I also like how right away you can sense how treasure is different from Ikon and Winner. It took a while for BP but treasure has really individualize themselves from their seniors.

This is the reason why I love watching producers react. They make you listen to the song like it’s your first time. Suddenly you hear the little details of the song you didn’t hear before
YES!!!! Not just the MV but the understanding of the creative process and beneath the song
That's why I immediately go to PD of Form of Therapy when there are comebacks. You get to love the songs and the artists far beyond what you expected after finding those little details.
I mean, it's the reason why they are professionals and not only fans. Fans are watching and reacting because they are fans, they go by their own instincts and feelings. Professionals are different, they look at the work ethics and they broadly state in things they know and see. That's why people need to ignore what other fans and haters say.

I like the direction that YG is going. They're taking a slow but steady approach to growing Treasure's fandom. Rather than coming out with something ultra trendy and following what others are doing, YG is establishing Treasure's artistic charm and music colour. As a Teume and a YG-stan, I am optimistic.

좋은 평도 감사한데 확실히 평가가 객관적이면서도 새분다 엔터에 몸담고 계시다보니 각자 경험에서 나오는 멘트가 참 인상적이었어요. 초반에 멜로디만 들으면 청량한 사랑노래인가 하는데 중반에 널사랑해 반복되면서 점점 음악이 고조되는 부분이 감정을 확 끌어올리고 또 중독적인게 너무 좋았어요. ㅎ 한국에서도 더 많은 사람들이 트레저를 알게되면 좋겠어요! ^^ Treasure effect!

I have this thought for debut project they will fully geared w inhouse Producers team. They have planned this year ago. And after this whole First Step series, their talented producers & writers would get more insight about market taste and what kind of music color would suit them best and well received by public in general. And their idol image is already settled by the end of this promotion period, this is the best profesional music production experience for these boys, they should take a note.
I hope they will grow big in their domestic market more, as well.
