Cool idea. I think the theme of permanence juxtaposed with how fast life moves will resonate with people of many ages and backgrounds. I think it will be a success, everyone wants to see Robin Wright and Tom Hanks in a movie together again. Imo the trailer was just boring because of the fast paced clips, if it was slowed down and we saw more of the acting and could really enter into the moment it would be better. But apparently Hollywood thinks we all have the attention span of a rapid gnat on speed.
Thousands of films that follow the traditional formula, and you cant accept just one that does something original with its storytelling? Give it a chance!
@@TheMoviedean Yes I understand you would give him a chance, because he can be a great filmmaker. However, the concept itself is what Im referring to, regardless of who's directing it.
@@llort7771 No I don't think that either. Of my 10 favorite movies so far this year, only two are sequels or remakes (dune 2 and babysitter's dead). the other 8 are all originals. here still seems like a gimmick to me.
The concept is exciting and cool. I dont know man maybe its just you lol your gripe is a bit weird. I dont have the attention span of a kid lol so definitely not bored it is my favorite trailer right now just to see the passing of time. Name me a movie that has done this before....there hasnt been one like this and people complain about no originality or to many remakes and sequels and here we have an original and this guy goes yawn lol not cinematic?! I dont see a dinosaur in a play. 😂 thats cinema!
Well this is a family movie. It’s going to around Christmas when it is released. People have different opinions on it but I wouldn’t say it’s boring.
That’s fair. 😎👍

It's Oscar bait.

That’s kind of twisting my words a bit don’t you think? I said I was willing to give it a chance because of Zemeckis.

@@TheMoviedeanNow all changes are criticized. And people find it difficult to innovate
I agree. It seems like a gimmick.
yeah another remake or sequel would of been better

I’ve seen it, and I can say that if you’re bored by the trailer you probably won’t like it.
Did you like it?
How? Its still in post production isnt it?
How did you watch it so early?
@@peterlenham3180it was a test screening about 6 weeks ago. It seemed completely finished.

It’s a story from that spot from the beginning of time. Don’t watch it if you don’t like it
Ok
