    NYC is a great city. If I were 25 again, I could imagine living there for a few years. Certainly, even in the 1980s, apartment rents were not as high as they are today. The building, which consists only of stairs, has something of Maurits Cornelis Escher, this Dutch artist, it his paintings of endless staircases

      That's the EXACT vibe I got from the Vessel, too.
      Also, I feel the same way about NYC. In fact, my plan after high school was to move there and make it as an actor or Broadway performer. It's always been my dream. The city has a certain vibe about it that I just love.
      Thanks for tapping in.✌🏾

    While not one of my top 10 places to visit, it is certainly nice to see NYC from your perspective vs the typical glitz and glam. I've only been twice. It's still a great city and one should visit at least once in their lifetime. 😊🚚

    Wow! It must be cold out there, but still beautiful. I appreciate water very much these days. The bridge is amazing.
    So many drinks and snacks, some I have never seen before. The night is very very lovely with all the lights. I have enjoyed watching this, and love the soundtrack. 👌👌💙

      Hey whatup, B!
      Yeah I know I've said in many vids that I too, love the water. And yes it was VERY cold this day.
      Seeing this bridge in person is a sight to behold. It...is ...MASSIVE. Have you ever been to NYC?
      Thanks for the love.✊🏾

    Never been to NYC myself, so I've been curious what your video is about. But it left me with more questions than answers. I imagine visiting this city is probably really expensive, especially during Christmas - New Years eve as well as very much crowded during that time.
    Never heard of "DUMBO" (which is a nickname for an elephant in German). Is dumbo a popular movie filmed at that location?
    The vessel seems to be an impressive monument of art, very interesting - unfortunately nothing to explore by myself to due to my fear of heights.
    Somehow missed some clip about Ground Zero memorial if there is one. That would be one of the places for me to go to in order to commemorate the victims of 9/11 and I would probably leave some flowers or a candle there...

    • @ChristopherLRussell
      @ChristopherLRussell  9 месяцев назад +1

      Hey there, Andre.
      - You are correct, it is very much crowded around this time, in NYC. Not the time for people that don't like crowds of people.
      Dumbo is indeed the name of an elephant, the one from Disney. But (as explained in the vid), it is also an acronym for the area in Brooklyn that I was at in the vid. "Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Over pass. DUMBO"🙂
      - The Vessel was cool, but nothing anyone would need to see more than once.
      - I missed visiting Ground Zero, but I did visit the new One World Trade building, which may or may not be in another video, since I didn't get SO much content from there.
      Appreciate the comment, my friend.👍🏾

      @Opa_Andre 9 месяцев назад

      @@ChristopherLRussell Thanks alot Christopher. Somehow I managed to overhear that sentence about the DUMBO acronym. One additional question. While you explored the vessel - did it start snowing? At start the "street" looked normal but at 12:39 the pavement appeared to be white.

    • @ChristopherLRussell
      @ChristopherLRussell  9 месяцев назад +1

      @@Opa_Andre I hadn’t even noticed this. It had been “dusting” on and off throughout the day so that might have been snow. But it also could just be an ISO issue with my camera. I can’t even remember now.
