I like the sound you get out of your cymbals.
At 3:00 ish, the original recording uses the bell of the ride cymbal to keep the pulse, and you chose the China cymbal instead. I think the China sound you get is very close to the initial recording's sound, which is a tone I'm really fond of. When you are playing on the China, are you playing with a lighter touch than when you are playing the other cymbals? You see a lot of old school metal drummers suspend their china in that perpendicular position (particularly in the 90s,) does that make balancing the china's volume to the drums easier?
Please let me know if any of these questions did not make sense
