My names's Jim Reilly, I did a helluvalot of Spot Yen at Tullett and Tokyo London, but prior to that I worked on the Spot Cable and Spot Yen at Harlow's. The chap wearing glasses is David Satchell, the director of FX. They're all behaving like parrots apart from Satchell, who actually asks his banks for a price in the amount ... "37-40, in two and a half". On the desk with Satchell is the chap we named "Hooter" (I can remember training him, but forget his real name), the rest are all muppets.
Hey Walter, I have videos of your desk at One Richmond with you, Hainer, Stuey and Cunningham. Nick and Mugsy were visiting that day. I'll add some more to this channel one day.
Miss Those days, I was the Chief Dealer Of Cassa Torino in NY My Brokers were TD from Tullent and Tokyo (RIP) Ralph from Lassers, John Vaccarro, I can t remember the rest..All This computer stuff ruined the Fun in the market. No one to yell at LOL Lookin To connect with the old sharks look me up!!
Thanks for the names Jim - Colin Pinks and Gerry Hinton! Long, long ago I was on the other end of the phone - in '88 I guess Bank of New England. Oh for swift one on a monday night in the Green Man.....Dave Wallace
@5800AirlineDrive Thanks for that. Whilst I never worked in that area of finance it must have been work hard, play hard. All this computer trading nowadays is all well and good I suppose but I wonder how much it contributes to increased market volatility no matter what market you work in? I also see a fine selection of late 80's hairstyles (I'm only jealous as that's about the time I started losing mine!).
Jim Reilly again. Some of the original "faces" missing from Harlow's Yen Desk are; Caven Hellings, Colin Pinks, Robin Jones, Greg Tasker, Dave Stewart and Don Murray. Paul Nortman and Tim Foley are there, but some of the "faces" missing from the Cable Desk are; John Tecke, Gerry Hinton, Ali Currie, Gary Alsford, Jock Stewart (R.I.P.), Phil Croton, Lou Bell, Wendy Stubbley.

Anyone know the significance of the green and red lights at each position?
