Adam you're killing me. lol I really want to learn horary. I have a 5 planet stellium in the 8th house in Virgo. I call myself "the troubleshooter"... I LOVE to solve problems, and with 4 planets in Virgo, I love an efficient, methodical process in my work. I see where a solid understanding of horary could also be very useful for 2 others areas of interest for me.... forensic astrology and medical astrology (both seem to go well with my 8th house concentration and the strong Virgo energy in my chart) and of course horary techniques are used on both types of astrology but they don't go in-depth into studying horary itself. I seem to be getting a lot of intuitive hits the last several days that I should learn horary and I honestly think it's to do with the work I'm planning to try to do in the other 2 areas since I think if I really learned to excel in the application of horary that I could potentially really excel at working on medical cases. It's my intention to work on some of the tough cases that doctors have given up on since I have been one of those cases myself. An astrologer saved my life many years back when she identified what was happening when all the specialistis I'd seen had missed it! I would not have lived most likely if that astrologer hadn't helped me.
Totally agree with you on psychological growth VS fortune telling. Personally I don't like fortune-telling style but modern astrologists seem to go over the board on psychoanalysis and leave astrology's value of fortune telling behind. Some books just mumbojumbo about psychological shift with progression and they miss the opportunity of telling the truth about events and timing that planets bring us. Why can't we have the best of both worlds?
As it’s become clear that Russia did meddle in our election, not to mention unscrupulous people in the U.S. and elsewhere, this reading and the followup analysis of lurking “henchmen” in the background makes sense. Not something most people would have imagined in 2016. Great sample, thanks for this. I’m glad I signed up for your course, really looking forward to it!
Hi Adam I love what you do and the way you do it, ie almost all of your daily programs. However, on this one you lost me at "the Moon is the job and Venus is exalting the Moon." And the square will just make it harder to accomplish, but the answer to your question is yes. I'll keep listening to see if I'm missing something. I've only used astrology for electional purposes , but have read about Alfie Lovie and the "magic" of horary in a Steven Forrest book.
The Moon is the job because it rules the 10th house, which is the house of jobs. Venus is the ascendant ruler, so it represents the querent, or the one asking the question. Venus is in Taurus, which is the exaltation of the Moon, so we say it exalts the Moon...which means Venus, the querent, really likes, wants, needs, might even overestimate the job. The square connecting them just means she will get the job, but she may get the job offer with a little difficulty involved.
ps--horary takes a long time to learn...so these are just meant to give people a little hit for what horary is like...learning the lingo and rules def takes a while!

Astrology isn't just about learning the "fundamentals" (signs, houses, planets, aspects), it's about connecting the dots and having a thorough understanding of tautology. And intuition plays a very big part when reading a horoscope, second only to astrological knowledge "fundamentals". Thanks Adam. You rock!
