The guy helping you out was a really good teacher. Taking the time to trek around with you, teaching you the fighting techniques, even letting you practice whacking him. Definitely a cool person to have run into!
The allo fight was so scary, but as the fight went on you could literally notice beaver getting better at timing his attacks. They were trying to bait him but he was reading their moves, that was so insane to watch.
Yeah, it was a lot like my first fight as an anno against two suchos (except I died, lol). I noticed they were able to pivot away of my attacks and attack on the cool down, so I changed it up with pauses and switching targets mid fight (would act like I was about to attack one but then turn around and wack the other.) Pretty sure if I actually maintained my hunker down position instead of getting up periodically, I probably would have survive. Admittedly, I thought anno was going to be easy mode, but it seems to be more nuance than I thought.
Not only that but the allos where puling all the stunts! They used the circle tacktick where one of them was circiling bever over and over trying to overwelm bever and get some hits in then they did the turn tacktick where they each bite and take turns to keep the litel bleed going but that failed and then the decoy tacktick where one of the allos i think the big black one was infront of bever to make him concentraite on him while the other 2 where charging up theire bite force but bever keept his eyes on the other 2 and ignored the decoy 😂 those allos where smart! Yet sadly failed. Edit: to be fair bever is very smart as well and he knew all those tackticks to well even the decoy tacktick wich is my foaivorite tacktick in this vid 😂 also i love how bever is able to take down a pack of 3 allos but acepts his faite to a spino without even fighting back i mean he was low on helth and since hes an adult his progres is probably saved but like am i the only one who was expecting him to put up more of a fight? Or like an epic spino vs ankalasourus batel? I gues thats why the vid was comeing to an end when he saw the spino 😂 to be fair i wanted to see an adult ankalasourus batel a spino cuz weve seen 3 allos but i wanted to see how he would do against one of PATH OF TITANS STRONGEST CRETURE! And cuz ive neever seen an adult ankalasourus batel a spino 😂 but i realy want to see that happen i gues not i gues we will NEVER know wich one is strongest but the anky HAS to be in second place! I mean its an absulute tank and weve seen it fight, a lizard a t rex and 3 allos all remaining Victorious! Even tho bever died to the lizard if he was an adult ankalasourus he would of kicked the lizards but! Also i know the adult ankalasourus almost died to the adult rex but what maters is that it won! And alghtou bever only took down 1 and not all 3 of the allos is because he was mercyfull cuz they where prity hurt i bet a cuple of more swings would of ended them for shure!
Here’s some tips for ano: Always max out your defense, the stat bars aren’t accurate to the dinosaur yet While young, bone break and then crouch for 5 seconds, it’s a really good technique Immediately start quests when you spawn, without the tail slam your practically defense less

The player you met was absolutely great at teaching! Also he was teaching you how to fight around those pools because they give a healing buff! Easy to practice when any health lost can be easily regained
I believe that Path of Titans devs did say they are working on the quests and growth so it’s more fun and engaging and they’re adding way more variety. I think they’re also changing the combat and stuff a bit to make it feel better.
yeah, combat and abilities are already being changed in the PTB. they're testing everything right now and trying to give every playable creature a unique play-style. for example, as someone mentioned, Latenivenatrix is going to be a nighttime hunter with nighttime buffs.
tip - when fighting metri and mega that are stacking venom on you as ano try to time your slams to catch them when they go in for a hit. if you run out of stam just bite them. it doesn't deal a lot of damage but it adds up fast and will often get them out of your face. also remain calm as ano. unless your having a difficult time hitting things and are still high on health you should just stay put and wait for them to make mistakes.
I like how beaver went from being sceptical about PoT to releasing episodes about it very often! I'm glad he is enjoying it and hope to see more episodes in the future :D
I hope that The Isle devs take notes here. The Ankylosaurus was likely on the menu of only a very few dinosaurs, being far too difficult and dangerous for just anyone to walk up and one-shot them.

@@hikaru9624 To be fair, if any dinosaur should be “overpowered” in adulthood… it’s a T. Rex. They were the heaviest land predator that ever existed that we know of. Massive, heavy, muscle-laden skulls. Teeth practically designed to crush through bone and armor. Their weaknesses/cons should be: low stamina, lower speed than more moderately sized carnivores, restricted to being solitary unless raising young, a slow growth rate, and high energy/calorie demands. They absolutely should be walking death machines. It should just come at a high cost.
Watching this makes me so proud HAHA Seeing Beaver growing (literally) with the mechanics of the game, getting the hang of it and playing with someone that is a pro at the game, teaching him, being his mentor was so satisfying and different from what we see in other Beaver videos of POT videos, gaining suspense for the end of the video, truly a masterpiece of content.
the isle had so many chances to become one of the best games way earlier than others like this, but the devs were so focused on visuals and still are, they dont add good content
@@hikaru9624 the whole point of being Deterrence is to scare some one off. not being able to outright win those fights. the problem whit the isle is a broken leg is healed in no time. if an anky could break a rex leg in a fight the rex would still win but at a great cost and that is what the isle lacks.

Here's my tips for Anodontosaurus: 1) Tail slam (green) and Bone snap (red) are the best attacks for Ano apart from Bite and Rally Call. @orangethingy not really, I had a fight the other with a mega sarco pack at corpse cove and they had a single megalania with them, at first it's bites didn't really do much but as time went on the venom added up and before I know it I lost all my stam while having 3 min of venom and no tail slam shortly after that they realised I was defenseless and started face tanking me till I died, from there on resilient was my go to. Btw I had hunker down activated the whole time

Whenever Beaver fumbles the attack buttons on Path of Titans, I just imagine that he's flaring and shaking his nostrils at his opponents as a defense mechanism. It helps me sleep better at night.

Btw just a tip about anky, go for the defence build of it in character edit, your build is speed, which basically is speed+ defence-, which not so good when already half the dinos can outrun you already 👉👈😶💦 Though all in all, your fight against those allos was impressive, specially for the build you had

I love your videos when you're controlling dinosaurs and well any prehistoric thing really. The isle is what drew me in but this is just as good.. Not AS MUCH with the suspense sure, but the quests are a nice touch and it is very pretty. I think you would like the Divine Beasts server beaver. You gain more growth for doing quests but it’s not instant so it’s still challenging but fun, the rules keep away annoying exploits but still allow fun for all Dino’s, and you have passive growth along with increased marks. Overall good server, I just feel bad how long it takes for you to grow and then just die to nerdy megs and utahs. Love you man keep up the amazing content.

The fact that the map is small and it's cross platform everyone can play with everyone else 100 players on a small map like this and that fact that you don't die 'permanently' makes for a fun experience if you know the hotspots you will have a variety of experiences. 🤣🖖🏻

An anky's 'Thagomizer' is just called a Club im pretty sure ^^ The term thagomizer is specifically used for stegosaurus and its relatives, and i beleive they were originally just called tail spikes!
One of the best ones I have seen I a while(not say your content is bad it amazing) the dissatisfaction I felt when the spino killed you thanks beaver for another great video.

Tip for you: You take double damage while sitting and quadruple damage while sleeping. Also, I’d recommend not using charge attack unless you’re in a group. It’s better to have the more instant bone break, because opponents can easily run from a charge attack, especially with no group member to distract
I appreciate this growth system so much, saves so much time and lets you enjoy the game more especially when you are without buddys for whatever reason.

The combat is better in PoT imo, but The Isle really captures the survival elements of a dino survival game, it's just so pretty and realistic.

Btw just a tip about anky, go for the defence build of it in character edit, your build is speed, which basically is speed+ defence-, which not so good when already half the dinos can outrun you already 👉👈😶💦

I think you would like the Divine Beasts server beaver. You gain more growth for doing quests but it’s not instant so it’s still challenging but fun, the rules keep away annoying exploits but still allow fun for all Dino’s, and you have passive growth along with increased marks. Overall good server, I just feel bad how long it takes for you to grow and then just die to nerdy megs and utahs. Love you man keep up the amazing content.

The fact that the map is small and it's cross platform everyone can play with everyone else 100 players on a small map like this and that fact that you don't die 'permanently' makes for a fun experience if you know the hotspots you will have a variety of experiences. 🤣🖖🏻

Tip for you: You take double damage while sitting and quadruple damage while sleeping. Also, I’d recommend not using charge attack unless you’re in a group. It’s better to have the more instant bone break, because opponents can easily run from a charge attack, especially with no group member to distract
The final battle was epic they don’t call them living tanks for nothing
I appreciate this growth system so much, saves so much time and lets you enjoy the game more especially when you are without buddys for whatever reason.
