It's A Fine Line: The Constitution

In A Fine Line, the Constitution is signed into law by President Nelson Mandela in Sharpeville, in front of a landscape of past horrors confessed at the Truth and Reconciliation Commission (though many of the State’s agents have remained anonymous and unaccountable.) In spite of that, the Constitutional Court would rise out of the ashes of apartheid to be a beacon of human rights with the scales of justice symbolising the fine balancing act needed to maintain the rule of law, enacted by the Constitutional Court’s Chief Justices on the left.
