Very good effort walking the trail in 4 days. I live close to where you finished day 1 and walk along various stretches of the walk on a weekly basis. The Wolds obviously aren’t the most dramatic countryside in the U.K, but they are beautiful and offer big skies and a lovely feeling of openness. I think from memory the village at Wharram Percy was abandoned because of the Plague and people never returned. It’s a great trail and I would suggest it would be an ideal starter national trail for anyone fancying a go at a multi day long distance walk. It’s also very well signposted from memory. Well done lads and pleased you enjoyed it.
nice one...shame the pub in Welton was closed as its a good boozer...you looked a bit happier after your 3 pints.....theres also a fantastic pub in Goodmanham
I know I was looking forward to a spot if lunch in there. It was a great walk ill be sure to do a lot more filming on the next one. Thank you for watching
Please, please, no more ‘thumbs ups’ and try not to make a potentially beautiful walk one long ‘talking head’. Well done but do try and be a bit more appreciative. You could of course do a bit of research and find out how powerful a family the ‘Percy’s’ were. Give the walk a bit of perspective!
Hi campsters hope you enjoy this video. Stay safe. Si
