Remove the "&" and you've got either three things in the Crash Bandicoot franchise: - A powerup earned after defeating Cortex in Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped - A type of minigame in Crash Bash - The first chase level in Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back
Ahh, I got this recently. It is a very different game, but I got used to it. You cant go the Mean Machine which kinda sucks but I don't mind much. Thanks man! ;-)
Another thing I like about this game is the races were cross-country like in the cartoon and Dick Dastardly and Muttley set traps. I do wish they had a bigger variety of traps mind you. If they ever want to bring it back to a game they should emulate this style and combine it with the gameplay of the PS2.
My two cents on possible reasons why this game never catch on is that, aside from being radically different from other racing games, he game just throws you into the action with zero hints on how the game works. How do you drive in this game exactly? Also, the racing is just plain boring. Aside from occasional minigames and Wacky Powers, nothing in this game that make the racing memorable in any way.
Its hard to explain there isn't even an accelerate button as such, you just hold the nunchuck in the direction the road takes. The camera sometimes goes too fast along the race causing you to crash out. I think thats the reason it failed to gather much attention its OK for me, but the better Wacky Races game is Dastardly and Muttley on PS2.
You quite like the game even though critics bashed the hell out of it. Another instance of the critics hating a work and the audience liking a work, or visa versa.
this game sucks big time when i got it i thought it would of been just like the dreamcast which was way more fun but no we got this terrible camera angle if they ever bring a new one out i wanna see the camera angle and the gameplay just like the dreamcast one
If this game was a Mario Kart style race driving game with the wacky racers using special moves to win the race it would have been awesome.
Así es su versión de DREAMCAST y de PS2 y es un juego increíble, para mí punto ñde vista ñeeosnal, supera con creces cualquier Mario Kart.
At least this game captured the charm of the show better than some other licensed Wii games as unfortunately common on the system at the time...
It’s about time someone made a let’s play of this game.
In my opinion it's not that bad of a game, you just need time to get used to the different control scheme.
Exactly
@@CrashFan93 I wish someone would rip the music from this game.
Camera handling of this game is brilliant.
2:31 Did Red Max just blink after he was paused?
Yep

I've tried this before, I remember finding it hard to play. I ought to give this ago again in the future. Amazing to see you back in action dude. 😊👍

@@CrashFan93 I like it, that gag from CTTR is pretty funny. :)
I used to find it difficult but when I realised that I needed enough cogs, I was on it
This game was Ok certainly wasn't as bad as other people made it out to be at the time but still much preferred the PS2 game

The only real problem was how Unenthusiastic the announcer was; and how lukewarm the music was. Other than that, this was amazing!
There were 2 PS2 games
@@starkers1997 the one from 2001
Realmente el de PS2 tampoco era original, fue una adaptación del de DREAMCAST.
Drat and double drat!
Dick Dastardly: Drat, and triple drat!
Muttley: (snickers, Dastardly bonks him in the head)
Razzumfrazzumrazzum Rick Rastardly!
This game was awesome
Thanks, I think it deserves more attention. :)
@@CrashFan93 ikr
How would you rate all the characters
Why is satanas not in the race?

Someone needs to rip the models from this game. ASAP.
I agree the Wacky Racers have never looked this good in other games.
