This has been a fun card. I'm betting the inevitable Surtur nerf is definitely to lower it's base power to make Shadow King a more serious threat to it. The whole deck seems kind of busted as you mentioned. I won a game where my opponent's Shang Chi killed 2 of my cards, and my big Surtur got destroyed by Cannonball. No deck should be able to win games like that.
@cannolibros @ninaisnoob thats because atlantis buffs the card before revealing as long as its the only card, so hydra bob actually reveals as a 10 power card instead of revealing as a 5 and then getting buffed to 10. Just like it would work if you were to buff something in hand with gwenpool vs it wouldn’t work if you buffed it after with something like iron heart.

So i just played Sutur and found another Way to add power to him. If you play a Hulkbuster on top of another +10
Power it procs surtur ability again.

It seems that whenever any card reaches 10 power on the board Surtur gains power. I played Hydra Bob on Atlantis and Surtur procc’d.

@ I’ve been running him with Blob and Blob also proccs Surtur’s effect.
@@houseofcory yea because blob is over 10 power before he’s done revealing, he’s almost always over 13+ after he’s fully revealed

you missed a mech with surtur. he gets procced when 2 cards merge like with hulk buster, chimichanga, amd possibly agony
