Hey I just want to say thanks for all these years of splendid reviews, they're always both helpful and enjoyable. Good job :D

This game is fun. I like the clean aesthetic. It has unique blending of mechanics. I found it on sale for $22.00 and at that price I tried it and liked it! It’s worth the retail price in my opinion.

Since the next Breakfast video is going to talk Seals, relevant question here - if Seals are dependent on number, why is the first time I'm gonna know a number for Umbra Via be a year from now?

If this was a game about Gerrymandering the theme would make more sense

kind of wish they would get rid of the attempted theme altogether. flowers, pipes, what?
Make it all out abstract and changes the auesthetics to be such. it can still look beautiful.

extremely not attracted by the aesthetics of this game, even as an abstract... have no idea what they were trying to go for

I see it but i don't like the colourful tokens, it does not match the dark labyrinth aesthetic look.

Pandasaurus usually has really good art direction for their games, but I think the art in this one is going to turn people away.

Tom, have you played Renature yet?

This is one of those games where I feel like the theme takes away from the mechanics. Why bother with a theme if not just to sell the game?

So if your colorblind or partially color blind your not going to be able to play this game. Why do these companies keep making the same mistakes over and over? Plus you forgot to mention that Tom. It's not hard to make the shapes different. Oh well, not for me.

The worst part is that they even depicted four different flowers on the box! I'm not colourblind, nor have anyone I game with that is, but I still appreciate when designers take the time to make their games accessible.

I don't think these particular colors are on the color blind spectrum.

@@thedicetower blue and purple can be. i know of someone who cannot distinguish between the two

They should have done clear vs opaque, or clear vs clearly striped/spotted.

@@thedicetower I am partially color blind. Every person is different. To say you don't think these colors are in the spectrum would be wrong. I get all types of colors mixed up. At work the other day I told the guys I was going to get the green roll around trash can. They all told me it was grey. It all depends on lighting also. In bright sunlight I can see colors better but in mid lighting it changes the colors up and I get them confused. If you print red on black for a game or sometimes the opposite black on red I have a real hard time reading them unless I am outside in the sunshine. In the game Clank! I get the black and blue cubes mixed up when drawing them from the bag. My daughter has to help me pick them apart.
I am just trying to say they needed to make it so the flowers are different shapes for people who need the help with colors. So many times you have said stuff like the back art on the box needs to show the game not just art to help them sell the game. You also say a lot the front covers needs to look attractive to sell them when people are looking at the store shelf. Box size or shape matters sometimes to you for game. Why would the piece shapes for color blind people not matter to board game companies? They should know this by now.

This game looks like a prototype
