What M15 didn’t want to partake in family activity of casting pellets. No worries E25 cast 2 one for them and one for dad. No matter how often I see it I always hurt for them as it looks really uncomfortable
Awe looks very uncomfortable for the littles. E24 was really struggling. What a relief that must be for them. Happy though that all is functioning well. Thank you very much Androcat.💙🦅🦅💙
@PriscillaD225. YW 🙂. E24’s pellet did take a little longer to cast. I didn’t see a close-up on it later after daylight. Sometimes nest material gets inadvertently digested during meals. That comes back up in a pellet also. I have seen one pellet take almost twenty minutes to be expelled (another nest). It appeared have a lot of nest material in it. The mucus coating helps it slide up and out, and perhaps that nesting material slowed it down. IDK, just how it appeared. 💙🦅🦅💙
@Laura-dolphinfan. It’s not bullying; it’s the fight for survival. Their first test is cam they even make it out of the egg. They will fight for survival every day for the rest of their lives. They are baby birds hard-wired for survival. It is hard to watch, for sure, but it has been the mildest season here, so far. 💙🙏🏻
I saw 25's double pellet casts but missed the 2 earlier ones. 24 had a lot of difficulty with that pellet cast. I think those were probably the E's first pellets. Thanks, Androcat.
@babsl9453. YW 🙂. You are correct; those were the first pellets cast by The E’s. E24 did have a bit of a time, and kept trying to swallow it back down. That second pellet by E24 was gigantic! Two days of eating rabbit prey, plus bird prey, will do the trick. Hope you are doing well! 🦅🦅
I like how they do everything as a family in unity ❤

Terri Stauffer. Too funny. Yes, it appears that M15 saw this family activity out!
Glad they're all "pellet free" for a bit😊. Glad Mama didnt have to intervene.

Mom needs to stop feeding them bones and stuff, just meat.
@AngeleyesLinda777. I think most of the pellet contents were due to fur from the rabbit prey. 🙂
@androcat12 oh, I see. Thank you.
