- Thank you guys for watching! The car has a resonator delete and both muffles deleted with 4 inch tips. Drone is crazy loud especially during highway driving. I don’t personally care for the pop bang tunes for these cars, but for me my setup is a muffler delete and a secondary cat delete. Keeps a solid tone and not too raspy, still have 2 cats on stock manifolds and stock resonator

@@lostraviezoz1263 I have a 2011 with cat and resonator delete with a borla axle back and it sounds amazing. No drone perfect tone when you get higher in revs. Everyone says it sounds like a vq
@@DEM925 depends on you. I hated the drone first 2 days. But now I can’t even notice it, but it’s never louder than the music.

Can't imagine the drone in that thing with muffler and reso gone. I'd rather keep the stock resonator, delete the mufflers and remove the secondary cats BUT replace the secondary cats with x2 more resonators. Should keep drone to a minimum, make the exhaust sound deeper while keeping the overall volume.
how much horse power you think you put on after the muffle + res delete with m force tune? i just got my res deleted about to get a custom cat back tomorrow and an m force tune next month... wondering if the tune did any real difference with just mod exhaust
I honestly couldn’t tell the if there was a hp change but it did have a better throttle response.
I didn’t have intakes so I didn’t expect much but if you do want numbers I would say get intakes too

Hey I’m thinking of getting the pop and crackle tune from mforce, and it says you have to have a cat less exhaust to achieve the pops, but buying headers is a really expensive part for a 3is ($1000 + $700 for the tune) also did you buy headers or just go to a shop and have them cut out your cats?
I didn’t get headers, I still had primary cats but I went to a shop that deleted my secondary cats. When talking to the tuner they said that was good.
@table I currently have the mforce tune on my 2008 2is (350). I’m running PPE catless headers and invidia mid pipe, no mufflers, w exhaust tips. It sounds like a freaking war zone lol. My wife’s scared to ride in my car now lol
If im not mistaken, the catless headers are only for the flame tune, you can get the pop tune with just no secondary cats
What sort off sound do you get from just a resonator delete will it make much difference? Got the is250 2006 the car seems to quite for me right now.

Hey do me a favor.. Do some Clips for the outside again & downshift rev match it. I want to see what it does. Like a bunch of pops or a flame then pops. Kind of interested to see what it does
Sadly I no longer have the car, it didn’t shoot flames but the pops was crazy. I can gather a few clips of what it sounded like with the pops

I got a muffler delete only , you think I could just get the Resonator delete but keep both cats ?? And do you think it will be less loud then the one in this video? I just don’t want it obnoxiously loud
I’m no expert but look into 1792 vibrant bottle resonator w muffler delete, that’s the setup imma be doing and I think it sounds perfect
Still pretty loud once you get rid of the muffler, I would suggest getting a resonator.

Carried this out what a sound the drone is mad. Put the resonator back in. Not as loud but still awesome and the drone is no more 👍. Thanks for posting this video 👍

It has no secondary cats, no resonators, and no mufflers right ? And is it superr raspy? I currently have no resonators and mufflers rn and im thinking about removing the cats idc about it being loud i want it loud but idk if itll sound good... thoughts?
Yes, it’s not crazy raspy. The worst part is in the higher rpm’s it gets very raspy, and it has loud drone during high way driving. If you do it’s going to get the high pitch sound. I recommend just upgrading the size of your exhaust piping and tips.

Yea, upgrading the size of the piping to like 2.5-3 inches from test pipes back will give you a better flow and a louder sound
@@StaticBrando Preciate it bro bro ! One last question what do you think would be louder, muffler delete with an invidia midpipe orr just a muffler and resonator delete? I ordered an invidia midpipe but its lagging it to get to my pad so for the mean time i just deleted my resonator (I already had a muffler delete)
I think adding the mid pipe will quiet it down more vs just a resonator delete and appreciate you bro for watching the video and commenting.

I have a straight piped Lexus 2is as well and the drone is pretty bad but I got used to it really quick. I really don’t have any problems wit cops
The drone I can say was pretty bad but you do get use to it. I no longer have the car so I’m not sure how cops would react now. With the bubble tune though you will draw alot of negative attention.

No they dont, they just sound similar

Not if your car is healthy and you leave the primary cats on. Secondary’s you can delete all day without tuning and no engine light

@@carlsantos7863 That's my setup (IS350). Muffler delete + Replaced stock resonator with aftermarket one + Secondary cat delete. still drones like a mofo so going to put x2 more resonators where the secondary cats were to eliminate some of the drone.

Just my opinion. Stay away from pops and bangs. It cheapens your car and best left to ricers. Also it can't be any good for your engine components.

Or just do yourself a favor, trade that junker in and get an IS F/GS F/RC F and have an exhaust note that sounds better than 95% of super cars.
