@@BookofConke Well, he still saw himself as being in the right. I actually think his past was so messed up and his parents expectations and the bullying and lack of any compassion or experiences with positive emotions caused him to be so messed up that he genuinely thought that he was doing everyone a favor by getting rid of human nature and creating a world with no emotion. This is reflected in his battle theme being so different from the rest of Team Galactic and the rousing speeches he gave to his followers and inspired them with. Saturn points this out in the Post Game of Platinum in the Galactic Veilstone HQ when he realizes that despite Cyrus's actions and reasoning or lack thereof, Cyrus would not have been able to get as as he did accomplishing his dream if he didn't make use of emotions and giving people hope in the process. Which is why Saturn now realizes that extremism is never the answer to accomplish the goal of true change. Which is why he's the only Commander left to take care if the rest of Team Galactic and hopes that they can pursue changing the world for the better by creating and discovering a limitless energy source instead of lying about it through Team Galactic's Commercials. Just like ANOTHER certain powerful and influential figure who has a potentially dark past that we know little about.
Love the music. LOVE THIS COVER! Despise this villain. A thousand years is too soon you say Rose? I wish I had that insurance in the real world. Given the amount of power the world consumes each year, the fact that we are running out of fossil fuel and other non-renewable resources, and the fact that currently all forms of collecting renewable resources would not be enough to meet our current demand for power, I would say our power supply will barely last another hundred years. Appreciate what you have Rose. You and the Galar region has it good.
When you put it like that if Galar was using alot of power similar to the real life and the Darkest Day would be coming in 100 years I'd actually like Rose and he'd be a sympathetic yet still evil villain.
I like Rose. Yes, it is a lot of time and yes, he is crazy, but It's kinda interesting thinking that everyone is forgetting about all the legends and about how they would get more energy (I mean, Sonya is a researcher and she only realized what happened because of the acts of Bede). I get what they wanted for Rose and I like him, but could've been better written, though..
I think that may be gamefreak being onto something. Maybe getting us to open our eyes and say "hey, maybe we should do something. . . Nah, ill use my bike later. Time to drive my car and use gas!"
Rose is a B tier villain in my eyes. The motivation of "we don't have enough of x resource" is a pretty realistic and interesting motivation for a villain - not to mention he's so unique among Pokemon villains in that he doesn't get mad when he loses, he's actually a hero in the eyes of most of the Galar region since he's adopted at least two orphans and provides power for the whole region, and, while his team is poorly designed, its still interesting to see a villain who specializes in a certain type - only two other villains have done this.
I love the Rosa seda credo, that in one of its many meanings, one the catches my attention is “i guess rose calms” mean that rose know that eternatus like a rose, elegant, but with thorns, and also means that rose is acting in a confusing status
I remember when I fighting Rose, his ferrathorn kept using curse, and it became so ridiculously powerful that it started sweepimg most of my team. I still won, but it was really hard.
'Millennia care not for my current sins' is a line that stuck to me. In Rose's eyes, who cares what he does in 1000 years time, what do we care nowadays about the average person from 1000 years ago, so by that logic you can do anything for defending the future as they won't care from 1000 years in the future (as a historian, I do tbh, but the average person likely will not). Love this song btw!
Dear Eternatus... That "HAVE AT YOU" at the beginning, scared the absolute shit out of me. Lesson learned, always listen to Juno Songs at full volume... NOT.
Rose: I am chairman of the Pokémon league! Rose: Bede, I want *you* to give me wishing stars Rose: BEDE! YOU MAY HAVE GATHERED ME SOME WISHING STARS, BUT U DESTROYED A HISTORICAL SITE! YOU ARE NOT A WORTHY CHALLENGER OF THE LEAGUE Rose: awaken Eternatus Rose again: rosa seda credo!
The problem with gym leader is... which leader do you pick? I could see it being each leader has a bit of time but there are 10 gym leaders so that might be a bit much. And yes, also Piers
Anyone else think that maybe Rose is actually from Unova or Alola (Pokémon’s versions of different parts of America) and he became extremely paranoid about energy preservation and thought he’d be a hero for helping to preserve it though foolish means, within Galar (Pokémon’s UK)?! Basically if you look at it that way, Rose would be a twisted anti-hero misguided by his own paranoia... Also, I know this headcanon/theory isn’t my own. I simply really love it.
In all seriousness. If Rose would have actually though this out more, like creating safe areas from the dynamax, getting expert trainers to take care of the dynamax Pokémon, and grabbing a master ball to get eternautus, this would have been an amazing plan. Which makes you think, was he trying to get all this stuff from Leon? Was it really Leon’s fault this all happened? If Leon would have postponed the match just one day, and shut down the government. Well, wait? How the heck does Galar Government work? Is it a monarchy with the champion at top? Is the champion just some kind of respected trainer with extra responsibilities from the government? Does the government “Hire” Champions? Is the champion the political leader of all things Pokémon, while a seperate government takes care of day to day things like the economy? Could Leon have actually given the help that Rose needed? So many questions
People often talk about Rose being ridiculous about not being able to wait until after the tournament is over. I mean, he IS but at least his character is set up to be someone who's impatient. For instance, after you beat the water gym, Oleana says something along the lines of "The Chairman gets upset when his plans aren't started as quickly as possible" in reference to needing to meet him at the restaurant.
@@spiritflame8453 I don't think that's ever said, but I could be wrong. Doesn't seem likely though, because why wouldn't he just tell that to Leon? Either way, it probably would've been best if they did give Rose more of a time limit in when he was able to put his plans into motion. I had an idea where they could've had him have some disease that would kill him soon, and he wanted to refill Galar with energy before he died. That might be a little too dark though.

Everyone’s complaining about the story and how they didn’t understand it but if you had of paid attention instead of crying about trees you may have noticed basic details
The story doesn't really explain why Rose awakened Eternatus during the champion battle. Sure, you can say he couldn't control it, but you have to think about it.
All we need is Oleana... Anyway, great song and one question, how often do you make Song Covers? (My guess is once a week) Edit: BEFORE ANYONE SAYS JUNO DOESN’T TAKE REQUESTS, I ALREADY KNEW THAT!
This is a very good song! Well done! The only thing I don't like(and even then it is not all that big of a dislike) is that you say "Ee-tur-nay-tus" rather than "Ee-tur-nuh-tus", which I feel makes more sense because of the fact that a fair amount of things about Eternatus(name spelling for both forms, Eternamax form, the energy it gave when defeated, possibly other stuff) it makes me think of the word "Eternal". Even with this bit of a nitpick this is still a great song! Keep up the good work!
I truly LOVE the animation of Rose in this battle... Game Freak might did a bad job with Sword and Shield, but the animation of his face and his gestures are on point. When he looks at his Pokeball in the beginning, when he says, that the player is too tough and that is a bit unfair and when he loses... I actually went into this battle really to overconfident and my team was almost entirely fairy type... I lost this battle cause of steel-type moves and I am really glad about it, cause it revealed an animation, which most people wont even see. When his Copperajah uses its G-Max move, it looks like an anime style kill move, with Rose standing in front of the Copperajah, totally chilled. I lost my last Pokemon to this attack and Rose faced looked like he was almost... saaad. It was the perfect anime "villian beats the protagonist for good" animation and you can find this nowhere on youtube... The animations portrayed Rose character way better than the dialoges and it would make this game so awesome... if it were not so bad...
Amazing just as always! I love it, how you're thinking about lyrics, put the footage together, draw everything by yourself and then even sing your own lyrics! That's so hard work amd its amazing you're doing this!

This is Disney level of interpretation and lyrics! Well Done!
The motivation of "we don't have enough of x resource" is a pretty realistic and interesting motivation for a villain - not to mention he's so unique among Pokemon villains in that he doesn't get mad when he loses, he's actually a hero in the eyes of most of the Galar region since he's adopted at least two orphans and provides power for the whole region, and, while his team is poorly designed, its still interesting to see a villain who specializes in a certain type - only two other villains have done this.
me, tapping furiously on my switch because at least Galar is better than this shit: LET ME IN, LET ME INNNNNNN
This is so good, wow. Your tone is perfect for a villain like Rose, and just the animation and everything is great too.

I love the Rosa seda credo, that in one of its many meanings, one the catches my attention is “i guess rose calms” mean that rose know that eternatus like a rose, elegant, but with thorns, and also means that rose is acting in a confusing status
I love how he goes back and forth from being righteous to paranoid-sounding
Woah, I was just wondering if you’d do a cover of this next, awesome!
I remember when I fighting Rose, his ferrathorn kept using curse, and it became so ridiculously powerful that it started sweepimg most of my team. I still won, but it was really hard.
@mamamimikyu 64 I can't remember.

ok this may not make sense but eternatus 1-3? (even though eternatus cant speak unless you give the lyrics to hop and mybe the protag?)
He did Ultra Necrozma. I guarantee he can do the Eternatus themes.
@Zorminy BonBon the ending of the video could be a hint to that.
He should use legendary Ghidorah's roars for Eternatus in the intro
The way Rose & chorus sings, they sound like that Disney movie The Hunchback of Notre Dame and I love it!

@@nicoo1784 what?
'Millennia care not for my current sins' is a line that stuck to me. In Rose's eyes, who cares what he does in 1000 years time, what do we care nowadays about the average person from 1000 years ago, so by that logic you can do anything for defending the future as they won't care from 1000 years in the future (as a historian, I do tbh, but the average person likely will not).
Love this song btw!
I must be really tired, I misread “Have at you!” As “LEPRECHAUN!”
Can we get Oleana too? She has such an interesting backstory.

This is too god listened to this 500 times already
Dear Eternatus... That "HAVE AT YOU" at the beginning, scared the absolute shit out of me. Lesson learned, always listen to Juno Songs at full volume... NOT.
Rose: I am chairman of the Pokémon league!
Rose: Bede, I want *you* to give me wishing stars
Rose: BEDE! YOU MAY HAVE GATHERED ME SOME WISHING STARS, BUT U DESTROYED A HISTORICAL SITE! YOU ARE NOT A WORTHY CHALLENGER OF THE LEAGUE
Rose: awaken Eternatus
Rose again: rosa seda credo!
Rose really hittin those high notes tho
I cant unhear "Go rose, save everyone"
Rose thought he was a savior. No, he was merely a thorn to the society.
Rosa seda credo means I believe in the rose
Now all we need is Marnie and we’ll have all of the main themes and my life will be complete
ummm PIERS
The problem with gym leader is... which leader do you pick? I could see it being each leader has a bit of time but there are 10 gym leaders so that might be a bit much. And yes, also Piers
Piers i swear
I'm still hoping in Eternatus 1, but I know it will never happen.
I don't even think that thing could get lyrics
He already did that
Rose: BUT THE ENERGY CRISIS!
Everyone: It'll happen in 1000 years.
Rose: 1000 years?! That's like... *Checks watch* TOMMOROW!
'society shall never die'
That is the coldest line in the whole song you have to admit
Anyone else think that maybe Rose is actually from Unova or Alola (Pokémon’s versions of different parts of America) and he became extremely paranoid about energy preservation and thought he’d be a hero for helping to preserve it though foolish means, within Galar (Pokémon’s UK)?!
Basically if you look at it that way, Rose would be a twisted anti-hero misguided by his own paranoia...
Also, I know this headcanon/theory isn’t my own. I simply really love it.
People: Go Rose, save everyone!
Rose: :D
People: Rosa seda credo
Rose: ????
(Rosa seda credo translates to.... "sedate pink I think")
Chairman Rose was one of the few good characters from SW&SH so it's great that this does him justice!
Lysandre’s choir: AWWWW OHHHHHH WAAAAAA HOOOOOOO
Rose’s choir: ROSA SEDA CREDO
I ADORE this voice and cover man, good job
3:32 huh. Moving animation. Neat.
Yes... Yes that is... What animation.... Is..?
Isn't an animation meant to... Y'know... Move?
you FOOL, yes..... that’s the joke....... they’re “animation” normally never moves.......
Dang! Is that No Retreat perfectly timed with the music or is that just me?
People often talk about Rose being ridiculous about not being able to wait until after the tournament is over. I mean, he IS but at least his character is set up to be someone who's impatient.
For instance, after you beat the water gym, Oleana says something along the lines of "The Chairman gets upset when his plans aren't started as quickly as possible" in reference to needing to meet him at the restaurant.
Huh. I thought Rose wanted Leon to stop the matches the next day because Eternatus was about to “hatch”, because of the wishing stars given to it
@@spiritflame8453 I don't think that's ever said, but I could be wrong.
@Crico Cadazzle I don’t think so either, it was just a theory I made up
I think a good name for this song would be "The Blinded Chairman"

this is amazing!! i love all of the art included and the strong vibes included in the lines! everything about this is great and i love how you gave rose a voice that sounds similar to scar from TLK! keep up the good work, mate!
Anyone else think that Chairman Rose just wanted to be the hero that gave the Galar region endless power.

Don’t mind me, just marking my favorite part
OMG! I love this so much! You turned his theme into an opera and I love it! :D
I have literal goosebumps!
Rose: "Imma turn the apocalypse into a huge battery!" Player: " Do you have any idea how stupid that is? " Rose: "Lalalalalalala I can't hear you!"
Rose has an Indian "r" pronuntiation in this fan made, a Copperajah in his team and it seems to come from a region based on it. This is Perfect.
from this song it makes me realize... how greedy of us to use a lot of energy power we had and yet we still need more and more energy to be found..
(anyway.. this song is intense!)
"I must save the next thousands years" yes, cause you are CLEARLY going to live for that long
He had an escavalier...?
Man my Coalassal wiped that thing across the floor in one move.
That escavalier wipe half of my Pokémon >:0

I love how the echo to his voice makes it sound like a stage production. I know in practice he's meant to echo the other eco-villians Maxie and Archie, but in presentation he took a lot from Lysandre, and gosh does it show here.
This... Is beautiful! I'll call this form...

-anti-villains
-well-intentioned extremists
-summoning a Legendary Dragon

It’s interesting how this time, the villainous team is actually the Pokémon League.
(My guess is once a week)
Edit: BEFORE ANYONE SAYS JUNO DOESN’T TAKE REQUESTS, I ALREADY KNEW THAT!
Every other week

Me who picked scorbunny and it's now a cinderace: Pyro ball that bitch
How about some lyrics for Piers next? LOL 😂
Seriously though, I can’t stop listening to these songs! Well done!
Man on the internet already did that
This is a very good song!
I feel like Juno can make every theme into a song
I am the chair man, no one can beat me. Trainer:-quack -
OMG! I’ve been waiting so long!
Animations? we gettin funky
Amazing just as always! I love it, how you're thinking about lyrics, put the footage together, draw everything by yourself and then even sing your own lyrics! That's so hard work amd its amazing you're doing this!
Me: Can I play some music?
Mom: Sure.
