I like this. It's a good way of explaining why the pros do what they do, and what parts of it aren't applicable to us lowly non-pros. Hope you stay safe and healthy Duke!
Dude, as someone who watched all of the games this week, this covered a lot that I missed. I would seriously enjoy if you made this a weekly recap. Im not sure if that’s something you would be interested in or how much of a time investment it would be. Great video though.
Weekly recaps sound great. As long as there's something to talk about. Once the meta gets petrified, the videos will become shorter and shorter and let's hope it won't happen.
Can't promise a weekly recap - considering this video took 2 days to make and got very little attention, I don't think I can realistically afford that. Plus there might not be that many interesting things per week anyways, as we'll see a lot of repeats. But I might go through it again in a few weeks!
As someone who doesn't watch SPL games but still values the data they give (and since Smite pro builds hasn't been useful in a long time) please do ALOT more of this its great!
I'm no pro but I'm in Platinum. A huge mlg pro 5,000 IQ tip is to use the FREE WARD you have. Something about PS4 and Xbox players where they forgot to use the FREE WARD or they literally say "no". Several times they spam ping and yell because they get ganked, when I tell them to use the FREE WARD sometimes they LITERALLY say "no!" I'll never understand this community. That being said, Chaac Jungle has carried me to Platinum really fast and its so addicting
I love this. I love watching your videos in a general. Not only do it help me improve but I’m the best one in my group of friends and it’s ever so helpful to teach then or point them in your direction ❤️ Please keep this good work up its great.
I love this style of video covering the pro matches. I'm always trying to sift through the streams to find what people are building and what's useful in casuals. Please keep doing these for the season! 🙏
As someone who play a lot of solo lane, and seeing pros streamer, I can add up what duke said about the solo lane in pro league... blue buff start is not beneficial at all for the solo laner, they get less exp, and pressure, but it makes jungler getting faster to the mid lane, so it's a good start if you have startegy in mind, don't recommend it for casual... as for mystical mail, the tier 2 of mystical mail is just feel bad to have, in solo lane in which when and which item to have during the momment can change the match up entirely, having strong tier 2 items are recommended, except if you can somehow straight to mystical mail, then mystical mail becomes more valuable
Love the content about spl! Also i think talisman is really uderrated.. late game it gives so many buffs especially to a non-movement hunter and gotta say i loved the Awilix pick into Yemoja so found it also a unusual pick not seen that often
A simple change that can improve your games is combining your ult with a team mate. It might be very simple and obvious but you’d be amazed at how many people that don’t even try to
If you get a chance a helpful video would be how to use the recommended builds in other game modes since I feel are geared towards conquest. Love your videos man
I think the reason mystical mail is not getting picked up in the pros is because of the fire giant dances they don’t want to accidentally agro the fire when walking by
I would think that the blue start in solo is only worth when you have good communication with your jungler, because if the enemy solo doesn't start at blue and your jungler does harpies firsty i imagine you lose way to much health and lane just to get the blue a few seconds earlier. Especially if the jungler doesn't come you might even take too long for blue to make it even worth at all
You definitely have to communicate that one! But on the other hand, if the enemy team doesn't communicate, you'll see their jungler clearing blue before the solo can get there for xp, so it really needs to be communicated either way.
Always get trans. Ullr comsumes so much mana you won't be able to keep up your abilities without it. And ullr is generally better in midlane because he has great 1v1 pressure, gets all the xp and gold to himself and can start snowballing earlier. Plus, you generally want to put your late-game hero in duo, ullr is tempo-based and his sustained damage is mediocre compared to most of other hunters
I REALLY wish people would heed the disclaimer at the start. Most of us here ain't pros so stop pretending to be one without understanding why what they do works.
Wait, what did you mean by Baron Full on tanky bruiser build? I would've though "full on tanky" would've meant like a full tank build with no bruiser/dmg items.
I tend to differ between "damage bruiser" and "tanky bruiser". Damage bruiser would be something like a damage build with 3 defense/hybrid items mixed in, while "tanky bruiser" would be mostly defense items with a little bit of damage. In this case, the build was Warrior's Blessing, Shoes of the Magi, Breastplate of Valor, Void Stone, Ethereal Staff, Mantle of Discord and (an unfinished) Magi's Blessing. So the only damage item was Boots and that was just for early clear. Then you had 2 bruiser items, being Void stone and Ethereal and the rest were really pure defense items.
For support I like to drop the mana pots and grab wards because nothing sucks more than starting with early pressure and then you die once and get bullied the rest of the game
(it doesn't let me see the other replies for some reason, so just to make sure in case it hasn't been said yet: ) While Hou Yi and Aphro can both proc the passive and this makes it way harder for Aphro to peel for herself, that's not the main reason it's picked. The inherent sustain of the item (=the other passive) is so good that the secondary passive is really just that, secondary. In this game, the enemy team could easily heal up between fights due to Aphrodite. Having 2 Stone of Gaia's somewhat offsets that because now your tanks can sustain/regenerate between fights much easier as well.
Theres so many misguided idiots on console who need to learn a thing or two from this. I'm sick of support going double jungle or solo going bad carry and losing every t1 tower in the first 4 minutes.
Ppls pride is too high to try and learn from ppl who are better than them. Thats why people are so shit at this game. Refuse to learn. Stay in bronze then 😂

Finally! I was waiting for you to do analysis vids again. Although I understand it takes alot of time and thought but you're the only one that does it
This item analysis is really nice! More please? Stay safe everyone!
You should do this kind of breakdown like every Monday or something like right after the spl weekend. It’s original and informative, nice job.

Yea I do like this Dukesloth, I missed a lot when I watched the games this breakdown can help me take my game to the next level thanks bud.
I love your channel and your videos! They're always so helpful, informing the community and helping us learn
Stone of fal was build too.
I like how this video is compact :)
What suprised me was when someone buildt Power Kali. No attack speed, just power. I really did not think it would be viable, but there it was
Its viable but it's not that great of a build.
This was a pretty good vid. Defintely would like to see more.
Awesome video. Really informative
hope to see more of these
Olorun and Hun Batz is a good combo
does Olorun Ult make people stay in Hun Batz Ult longer?
Big Fudge yep that’s exactly why they make a good combo.
i love this format 100% really appreciate ❤️❤️

Great video. I’m new to the game but trying out Ullr in the carry role. Should I go for Devours Gauntlet now with him or stick with Transcendence?

mage blessing with t1 trans.
Ulr always goes trans, he needs ability dmg, he needs CDR and he needs mana, Trans gives all of the above.
loved the insight, I'm always watching spl but when I try those picks or builds, they never work as I thought they would
I REALLY wish people would heed the disclaimer at the start. Most of us here ain't pros so stop pretending to be one without understanding why what they do works.
Osiris with runeforged is the best sleeper pick in the game.
Great video as always
I dig this a lot, pls keep it up

yes this is a very interessting format.
Great vid
All I know is that I used FineOkay’s build from his Cama game and holy shit does it slap.
Am I missing something?
Why pick stone of Gia, the "Blue team" don't have anything to trigger the passive do they?
Aphro 2 and YI leap if marked both could, mainly for the aphro 2 I guess
Sustainability around objectives
neither of those sound like good enough reason for it in a pro game though.
Having a little more sustain against Aphro is good as you won’t be loosing the “wear” fight or the re engages
(it doesn't let me see the other replies for some reason, so just to make sure in case it hasn't been said yet: ) While Hou Yi and Aphro can both proc the passive and this makes it way harder for Aphro to peel for herself, that's not the main reason it's picked. I was surpise seeing aphro in the spl.
Her 3 finally got a buff and her scaling is not bad tho
i wasnt, shes good and got picked a lot and will probly continue to get picked.
Do you cover SMITE in the german community as well?
Not really tbh. Not much going on there anyways plus I'm not in Europe anymore
Tipps für Joust (Charakter, Taktiken, Items) wär auch ne Idee für nen Video ☺
The should make it that if kuzenbo can push someone through all 3 minions they get stunned for a second or 2.
I usually main supp and I was happy that most my items the pros use too 😭
Do a vid on rising stars on RUclips. I know the usual cast but would like to discover new channels making smite content. Thx :)
What you can learn? That you shouldn't be building attack speed boots and void shield on Da Ji.
Void Shield is fine, Ninja Tabi wasn't a good pickup though.
How the hell did I notice this so fast.

this is some good stuffs

Interesting stuff, I’m a ranked joust player and I wonder how this could be applicable there.
Max Chrysler me too I would say most builds would apply generally with slight tweaks.
people actually play ranked joust?
