Linda...you are amazing! Not many women like this style of music...pretty much of a "guy thing"...not for you, tho'. Thank you for these fantastic videos of Joe and his band. Blues run thru every bone in my body and I can't get enough...I'm 67.
@@missmoke007thebestmusicvideos This genre is pretty DOA as it is. Modern R&B, hip hop, and funk-inspired blues-tinged guitar is really where I hear modern contemporary guitar going, and where I've taken my playing as a young person. Gary Clark Jr., Melanie Faye, Theo Katzman, etc. Look them up (mainly Melanie Faye and Theo Katzman/Vulfpeck, since I assume you know of Gary Clark Jr.).
@@missmoke007thebestmusicvideos yeah, I’m 49 and I’m usually one of the youngest people at his shows. Part of the issue, I believe, is the high cost of his tickets. I know a lot of younger people that like Joe Bonamassa but can’t afford the tickets.
Thank you from me too, missmoke007... I saw Joe live this past Fall, would have given anything to have been able to attend this KTBA cruise. Most amazing blues guitarist ever, all these guys are so good, brings tears to my eyes!
Thank you Suzanne, I'm glad to spread the joy and love of great musicianship, with the hope that more and more people will come out and support these great musicians.
I would like to profess my love to Miss Moke for posting! I don't know you but there is a 40 year old man from NJ who loves you for uploading haha Bonamassa is one of my top favs. I HAVE to go on one of these cruises soon. KWS killing it in another upload you posted, good stuff!
Hey, they take payments! LOL If you ever make it aboard~I'm easy to spot~the crazy ol blonde with the camera on a pole standing for hours at the front rail on the pool deck~come say hi :)
@@missmoke007thebestmusicvideos I will absolutely keep this in mind. Was looking at the website yesterday. If you see a tall, large man come up and give you a bear hug and say "thanks". It's just me! ;-)
Ethel Merman leads into Joe Bonamassa! Now I've heard everything. Sound seems wavy, unlike most of your vids. Distortion? Passionate performance for sure!
Joe is the go-to person when I try to make a point that the tone is all in the finger. Listen to how similar he sounds with a gibson lp and a telly. I mean yes he doesn't sound the same but a tele sounding similar to gibson LP is a laughable statement for people who don't share this opinion (the tone-fingers that is)
Agreed about Joe being a tone master, but remember that particular Tele has a humbucker at the neck position, so it's been modified from a traditional Tele tone to begin with. What I think Joe is best at is getting the perfect tone for each kind of guitar he picks up. His Tone can NOT be beat and he uses almost no peddles anymore.
@@missmoke007thebestmusicvideos You are right. I was refering to the bridge sounds, but you definitelly have a point about this being a hb guitar in the neck. Still different construction even if you consider this fact you just mentioned! His tone, his feels are all top notch. Joe is a real guitar hero of our time!
I have a vid for you where he comes into a small club unannounced an picks up a young player's Japanese made LP and plays thru the kid's amp and sounds killer~ here it is and it is so cool ruclips.net/video/RV68ljZL3kE/видео.html
Joe does well with the covers. Comparing this to guys on the same cruise like Eric Gales, Davy Knolls and others I am learning Joe's abilities. He is much better with melody and emotion. He uses fast passages as a crutch a lot less often. Joe has a better song sense too and his crescendos are much loftier and his quiet breakdowns more meaningful. He and Kenny Wayne were the most impressive to me. The only thing is that, though Joe sings very well, still those Zeppelin songs just aren't the same without Plant's voice.
Фантастический концерт!👏🤘🕶️🎸❤️
Becks Bolero, very nice! Thanks Joe and Mrs. Smoke!❤
I live in Thailand but unfortunately not a chance to see him here. Joe is to me an awesome acoustic guitar player as well
U r 1 of the best I've ever listened to not live and I'm totally blown away. Thanks for sharing your awesome talent.
That solo in I Can't Quit You Baby - wow. Some of, if not THE, best blues playing you'll ever see and hear.
I love that solo!!!
I agree 100%...Joe is simply amazing...nobody can compare...WHO?
I will listen to it all day - and the day after - it just so great. Greetings from Denmark.
Loved the shh with the hand was cool!! Loved the whole thing!!

Joe Bonamassa is the greatest technician to ever pick up a guitar! I’ve seen him in concert twice & there just isn’t anyone better!!
he's what I call a guitar expert cant be beat will go down in history as the best and Im a huge music fan of all kinds sinse the 60s
Another perfect show by Miss Linda Moke!!!
Thanks Dave :)
Oh just absolutely awesome performance. Would so love to be on one of those cruises. Heat and soul everytime. So miss the band playing live.
Thank you what a performance
Have you ever noticed that the core of Joe's band are all well over 60 years old? Just superb players that can still cut it.
Have you ever noticed his audience?? That's why we have to spread the word to a younger demographic~hence youtube :)

Bill Nastali yeah, I noticed that too. I have a new camera and my editing program is being wonky~ if I can fix it, I’ll re up the vid.
Perfeito demais!
Como é o nome da última música? 😍😍😍
Johnny B...??
Thank you for sharing! Do you know the set list? There are tunes in this that I'd like to learn but don't know their titles.
I don't have it, but I'm sure it's posted somewhere :)
Ethel stops caterwauling at 1:52 or so.
Just sayin'...
Was that much loader than normal??
Missmoke007: did you use a tripod? Great video

Tell me, if the ship goes down will the band keep playing. Haha.
His microphone needs to be LOUDER his vocals are buried by his guitar
