I am glad you are starting at a young age with this art form. I ahve not been doing much glass work lately. Whne the weather cools I will see what I can do.
I'm actually still in high school, but this is something I've been interested in for a while. Your video is really interesting and I like the way that you make the pendant, but I was wondering if you could do a video from a different angle? It's just a little hard to see some of the details of what's happening in the flame... If you can't, I'm sure I can find other stuff, but a lot of what I've seen is silent without people talking over it...
if this is how your going to make a glass blowing tutorial, don't. that was pretty much useless lol couldn't see anything being done nor did you show the final product.
I'll have to admit tho Quality was poor and it woulda been nice to see what the product looked like before the camera cut.... but I still got the basic jelly fish tutorial outta it and that's all that matters to me.
@suriVJD It is custom made. 5" x 2.5" I used the torch attachment from a cheap marver and bought a graphite block form Arrow Springs, cut it to the size I wanted and screwed it to the mount.
@bambamlaf Thanks. I actually do have a star pendant much as you describe it. Mine is red, white, and blue. I made it as a special order for someone but they never came back for it.
why is it that more than half the glassblowing videos on youtube dont use camera filters or show the end product??

I was wondering when a jellyfish was going to be shown, nice video, keep it coming,
whats up with all them marvering pads on your bench?
you have the cleanest work space i have ever seen!!!!
You can put a Ace202 or Auralens filter over your camera lens to cut back on the flare so it is easier for other to see.
Great demo, but I was blinded by the light. Couldn't get much out of it.
Damn man you got a lot of tools! Look at that graphite slab!!
Would have liked to see a close up of the finished product before you threw it in the kiln.
very cool
thanks for showing this technique.
could we see a closeup on the finished piece?

5.33 "dont" lol was that to the wife not to answer the phone mine would have said "your losing custom!" lol
is this soft glass or boro ? sorry for the question but I am new to flamework
Thank you so much!
do you think you could make a dragon or a unicorn (if you already haven't) and if it's not too hard to make???
just wondering where you got your mounted marver? and how big it is? almost looks like a 2 by 3 - 2 by 4". just wondering
I am pretty sure I have videos of both of those. I will see about making another in a few weeks though.
How do you do a star pendant or a spider pendant??? Thanks
haha thats what i think every time
glad to see you're back! ive made a couple videos myself. check them out if you find the time!

It wasn't useless. I made a good jelly fish because of this video. Took me a few tries but I got it.

yeah really the biggest problem in most of the youtube lampwork videos is not showing the finished product.
I wish my torch would light that easy!
what did it look like??? we'll never know
Great Video as usual. Thanks.
