Lyme Regis Easter Monday Duck Race 2023

A quacking time was had by all at the Easter Monday Duck Race. 1400 ducks took part with the first duck across the finish line duck 983 trained by Chris Hutton, 2nd: duck 187 Alfie Baker; 3rd: duck 943 Greg Howson; Last: duck 1525 Suzanne Roycroft.
The countdown to the race was started by Town Crier Alan Vian at midday with Cllr Michaela Ellis, Mayor of Lyme Regis and Mayor's consort Alan Ellis releasing the ducks into the river.
