    Shiho nage, we need keep the hands in front of of us and our body has to blend when doing the technique to maintain connection and distance, thank u Sensei

    No atemi and he’s not moved the uke to immobilise him anywhere throughout the technic , as for your height comparison it doesn’t matter what height a person is , your sensi talking about the fork is stating a fact of following and resistance which is the principal of aikido.

      Even though U R correct in what U say, the whole point was not to show a good Shionage but to move the body where Uke will let U go not where U think U want to. But we must accept all views as they all mean ears must listen and learn.

      @@Tony_Sargeant yes I agree. we tend to teach to immobilise uke therefore they loose control of there movement and tend to follow better to try and get back into a comfort zone.

      I am sure many will not agree with me, but i no longer know where the Aikido I knew is now going. An art of "Wellbeing" called Aikido.
