You must remember when the Dockyard was still operating . There was a lot more money around then . The Command House is still open and is a successful pub/ restaurant . The big old Tesco is gone , it's a camping shop now .
my cases were packed, and left chatham late June 2019. My dad died, amd all my ties and memories since 72 from chatham had gone, I almost feel by force. I so want to go back.
I stayed in a hostel in the area i was greatful for the hostel putting me up as i was homeless but Chatham is a dive i couldn't wait to get out of there

This film looks like a great improvement on those days, but it is 4 years old, so I expect it has gone downhill again, like lots of towns…… I used to like spending time at Riverside, sunbathing on the grass in the summer with my two small children. Good times, bad times…..

Debenhams closed permanently . KFC gone . Gala bingo closed down permanently . Bon Marche closing and some of the charity shops have now gone . It's dying . Little Chefs cool tho ! I often eat there .
My fiancée flew over from the Philippines last Christmas and she wanted to see the local shops.. my god it was embarrassing showing her this place.. its actually far nicer in manila than kent tbh
