  • On August 22, 2024 I film the ex Wabash on the NS Huntington District between Wabash and Sycamore, Indiana. It was a very busy day on the Wabash with trains line up in Peru waiting for crews most of the day. Several scenes of the day in this part one video. Thanks for watching. @@NELSONRRVIDS yes it was a very fun summer trying to film the Roadrailers as many times before they were gone.

    Nice and busy, it looks like! Next day was a little slower. The line really seems to pick up in the late afternoon hours.

      Actually it was busier that you see here. My next video will have a little more video of this day at the beginning of it then Marion Branch will be on it. Also I had already posted the final runs of the Triple Crown trains so they are left off this video. I had two parts of the Triple Crowns final runs. Here is a link to one of them. ruclips.net/video/PAe60vJpQDc/видео.html

    Is Peru a crew change point?

    • @NELSONRRVIDS
      @NELSONRRVIDS  15 дней назад

      Yes it is. The Huntington District ends at Peru and the Lafayette District begins on west of Peru. The thumb nail photo of the three trains is at Benton Street is the crew change point.

      @@NELSONRRVIDS Thank you. So what are the next crew change points in either direction? Is Peru a home terminal? Or is it just a crew change point?

      @@Belleville197 You are welcome. To the east the line goes to Detroit and change crews. Once in awhile at Montpelier, Ohio. The next crew change point to the west is Decatur, Illinois.
