Shoemaking | Part 2 | The lasting

Second video of this series about the making of a pink bubble gum leather derby. First I had to modify the last then (I forgot to record it) I pre-last the upper while I'm preparing the insole and the stiffeners. I put shoe tack at the heel because the last have a metal plate, other way I would use wooden pegs for the heel section. I hope you enjoy this video, making a shoe while filming is not easy, sometime the focus go off or I forget to record. 🎥

1:53 those Knives ? The long one is an C.S Osborne blade and the shorter is a Tina blade, in the part1 you could see the way a sharpen them !

Yes it’s the same blade, the Tina, when it’s sharp I do everything with it.
