Mindy... it is too bad you can't actually hear how many times you make your audience laugh! I have been cracking up. Sneaking up on the Feline was hilarious, and yes Glam in Van is Geeeeewd hehehe. I am just in from a busy weekend and catching up with your latest. It is always heart warming and fun. You' ve really got a good thing going here. Oh my gosh, that Crab Boil looked delish! Thanks for the continued DIY tips. I have a 2001 Dodge Ram that I working on converting, and plan on utilizing the Rhino Plastic Coating and will try the headlight kit. Hope you are well, take good care! ☮💟Sending Best, Magdalena
So glad that you are riding Copilot with me Magdalena. It is always a pleasure to read from you. I appreciate your constant support and uplifting words each week. If I inspire one Soul, my work here is complete. Cheers!
Love this! Yes, Deanna it felt good to cook in a big kitchen again and give back. I am going to look into volunteering at some other Moose Lodges, it is a great way to meet the community. Cheers!
Hi Mindy!! Your headlights look awesome! That last protective clearcoat is very important. Especially in hot climates. Well done you!! 😊 I ended up having to buy new headlights for my van early this year. Two yrs ago, when visiting with my grandchildren, my youngest son, who has cardiomyopathy, sat on a stool and rejuvenated, my then eleven yr old headlights. I so appreciated the work that he did. He didn't use a kit. He took me into a local business and showed me what I needed to buy. Because of his heart condition, he had to do it over a couple of days. They looked brand new and I was so excited, Made the whole van look so much smarter. Then, just a few days later, the van had to go into a workshop for an appointment. I didn't say anything about the headlights, because what had to be done had nothing to do with them. When the van was finished and I walked out to see the service manager, he showed me the invoice and explained what had been done. My eyes went straight to the bottom of the list....Polished headlights!!! You can imagine how that hit me!! Like a ton of blasted bricks. There was a lot that I could have said. But didn't. I discovered later, that they had actually scratched the lenses. That was no polish. Anyway from then on, my headlights began to leak. Never had they before. No way would they take the blame though. I have no idea what they did that day and never will, but I'm sure that whomever was working on my van took the instructions off the job sheet wrong and dismantled my lights for some G.d D....d reason, but I can't prove a thing. So $1,500 later, I have new headlights and no thanks to them. I was furious, as you can imagine. Still am. Love that you have places like that to stay Mindy. Ideal. I have to start thinking about what I'm going to do when I can no longer carry on this nomad life. Don't want to have to think about it, for sure, but time races on and before you know it here you are. A bit depressing, to say the least, but it is what it is, as I always say. Take care there, across the miles Mindy 🕊🌹💌🙋🏼♀️🚐 🌏
Hi Mindy that sure looked like a fun stay , haha You going down the slide. Hey thanks for showing us the headlight restoration mine are the same as yours were at 17 years old . Think I shall try this in morning.☺ The headlights are very much improved WOW ! very nice . Thank's Mindy this was fun
Oh goodness, PLEASE don’t fall off your poop cooler… ever..😂😂 I did my KittEy’s headlamps about two years ago…. It was a glorious day 🙌 for my little E, they looked brand new. They could perhaps use another treatment. My ex hubs actually replaced his Element headlights completely which required tons of work (had to take off much of the front end) then he sold his about six months later. Cheers!
Oh he is going to regret selling his Element. How fun that you both have/had Elements. I was going to replace my headlights as well, but I really do not need to. Cheers!
