Most of men gonna love her only for prettiness. So this is why for long-term relationship men choose average women, due to other "skills" women have been developing. It sounds very plausible for many good looking men out there. But the other side of the story is that many guys, who are good looking, also understand the fact that merely because of their looks, they have unlocked a lot of women as their potential partners. This gives them the clarity that an attractive woman will have the same advantage and edge in dating and marriage. But an average girl might not have that advantage. So for those men who want to settle down, and being aware of these dynamics, it makes sense for them to settle for an average looking woman but someone who is loyal not only by character but also has little choice about it.
