There was supposed to be a third verse, but Nate just told everyone to leave the studio, but leave the microphones on. The last part wasn’t planned, he was just talking about how he felt in the moment.
Really appreciate your reactions. The three of you all have great insights and you just appreciate great music. Hope things are better in the UK then here in the states. I’m in the Philly area and it’s very unsettling working in the city anymore. You guys all respect each other’s ideas and never speak over each other. True Gentleman. See you along the journey and god bless you all and your families
I love NF. I'm from the US (pray for us) and no one knows him. His emotion, his passion, his honesty set him apart. It's like when someone giving a speech the top rule is have something to say. When NF sings/raps he has something to say. He's saved a lot of lives. He has fans writing him all the time saying I was going to kill myself because I thought no one was like me. With mental illness so purvasive it's great that he talks about hard things so we don't feel alone. Great job.
It's truly a testament to his pure love of the art, to be so open and honest that you literally put your tears and pain onto a track like that. Something to be admired.
During recording he had an emotional Break down and had the studio cleared out so he could talk through it. Someone left the mic recording. That is what you hear at the end plus the crying mixed throughout the song.
His mother died during his senior year of high school. His wife’s father also overdosed on pills. He said he would not have written this song today because he sees her with a little more grace and forgiveness than the anger he felt when writing this song.
NF is a crazy amazing artist. Most people even in the states don't know who he is. They may recognize one or two songs. But not many go on the journey through his music. During production of this song. He asked everyone to step out of the booth so he could be completely honest with talking to his mom at the end of the song. He's a true artist who deserves way more exposure.
Yes, this is a tough one. He obviously needed a way to pour his heartbreak & anger out. Not sure if anyone else mentioned, but when recording this, NF asked everyone to leave the room so he could be "real". Bless him. And, bless you for sharing this.
The last part, where he talks, he threw everyone out the studio and told Tommy Profit ( his producer) to let the track play and he recorded the last part alone actually crying, and then Tommy cutted the who venting process into the few lines you hear at the end. This is how difficult this song was for him to make. "Crying my eyes at the studio was difficult" ... I would honestly recommand you guys to start from his Manson Album and work through the songs, because it >>IS
My mom has similar problems but not as bad as his mom, and that’s why this song always makes me tear up, a lot of people can relate to his music and that’s what keeps us (his fans) listening.
As someone who dealt with a similar motherly experience bar the death, so far. I really appreciate the response, I know this video is old but I love watching you guys even at my age now at 25 it helps me realise it’s not my doing, keep it up guys.
Still one of my favourite nf songs and it still doesn't get easier or less emotional listening to it, he is a true artist for sure.. And I agree he could easily be number 1 over here maybe not with that particular song but it would certainly do well.. I'm still gutted at how there's isn't much exposure for him here in the uk because he deserves it 100% Thanks for another great reaction aswell 👍👌

If you're looking to go back to the beginning of the journey just start with Mansion and then work your way through the albums. You won't be disappointed. He puts his all into every verse.
God I wish it was as easy as saying no...But when the right combo of untreated childhood neglect/trauma becomes a toxic core belief system which then turns into self destructive thoughts and behavior patterns learned/modeled btw it’s really not so hard to escape with drugs or alcohol. So glad Nate didn’t go down that path...
Seeing that can also make the kid go the opposite way. Perhaps not as often, but it can. It very much did so for me because I knew exactly what my life would be like, what my kids would endure if I ever went down that road. It made it very easy for me to say no to those around me pushing drugs of various kinds. As I said, that doesn't happen as often as simply repeating the cycle does, but I'm guessing seeing these things with his mom pushed him to do the opposite of her because he knew what he didn't want to end up like.
I know it's late but almost every song is a follow up from the one before so if you listen to them in order it tells a full story up to his latest song
To my friends in the comments we need Office Blokes to react to Harry Mack!! In case you have been living under a rock he is the undisputed G.O.A.T of freestyle rappers and killing it right now. Genuine guy who spreads love and positivity. Huge wow factor and accessible to the general public. Here is just one of his countless vids: ruclips.net/video/1rZHKI9U4Yc/видео.html Honestly just give it 40 seconds.
for another beatbox video you should react to ABX. He has been competing for a few year but resently has been blowing up. Check out ABX 🇮🇳 | FLEX / DIFFERENCE / VIBE
Pls react to Latinoamerica by Calle 13. They're an extremely talented Puerto Rican group that are recognized throughout South America as legends. Lyricism is very important in the song so y'all should look for the vid with English subs
Will always stop what I’m doing to watch an NF reaction lol
Saaaame
Yess. I Iove them!!😭❤️
Always.
Facts
Fr tho
The end of the song he asked everyone to leave the studio so that he could break down privately. What you're hearing is the real deal.
Almost cried listening and watching this. Emotionally, the heaviest song I've ever listened to
There was supposed to be a third verse, but Nate just told everyone to leave the studio, but leave the microphones on. The last part wasn’t planned, he was just talking about how he felt in the moment.
Y’all gotta get to Nate by NF. He gives more detail about his upbringing and is overall a good song
prob my fav song ever
This song help cope with my dad leaving me for the drugs and alcohol. I feel NF pain and hurt in this song 🥺💔
Mariah Castorena stay strong Mariah. 👍🏻👊🏻
Serious question: even if you can't relate directly, how do you not tear up hearing this song?!?
Easy
Self control I'd imagine.
Not everyone cries to specific things, but me and these guys got heavily emotional.
Ok i can relate and im balling rn😭💔

This one brought me to tears. Amazing song!
Office Bloke Dave may have gotten something in his eye for this one...
Time to get emotional in the office!
I saw this kid when he was in high school. I knew then that he was going to make it big.
I love NF. I'm from the US (pray for us) and no one knows him. His emotion, his passion, his honesty set him apart. It's like when someone giving a speech the top rule is have something to say. Rita Carroll thanks Rita. You don’t need prayers. US will sort itself. Too many good people 👍🏻
@@officeblokedaz Thanks but things are bad here, the divisiveness is killing us.
Rita Carroll you’ll be ok. There’s been worse and you can always try somewhere new.
@@officeblokedaz I know but my worried side takes over once in a while. My Gran always told me to do what you're good at, well I'm a champion worrier.

NF brooo🔥🔥🔥🔥
I listen to him every single day

The children are the forgotten one's in addiction.
The trauma still affects all the kids; one his sisters is an alcoholic to this day. He wrote a song about it on his "Perception" album.
Yeah. It's My Life. Great song
This is one of the hardest songs to listen to... it's completely raw. Absolutely nothing held back, and that includes the pain.
dont know your names but the brother on the left barely hung in there, no need you know? let it flow, this one got me the 1st time i listened.
I’ve been waiting for another nf reaction. Please do more this was a great video

This song makes me cry every time. Lost my mom when I as 14 due to the same pill addiction. It’s been 7 years and I’m still just as hurt as NF is
i am sorry for that but i am sure you an amazing person i am here always with you anytime
emma b sorry to hear that Emma. Be strong 👍🏻👊🏻
@@officeblokedaz I will! Thank you very much!

For that last bit, he actually asked everyone to leave the studio so he could cry freely
Quickly becoming my favorite reaction channel keep it up boys!

I'm a EMT and me and my partner will go through the day just listening to NF in the ambulance. He brings so much motivation.

Powerful video. Especially when you've been through it.

This is how I feel when even RUclips ignores me. No likes no love. It's as if if I died, nobody would care. Everyone only cares about themselves
He was 18 when she passed
Time and Mansion are two of my favourite songs by NF, worth a react!
