    Whenever I don’t feel good a shower or bath is my go to. There’s something about it that is just so comforting. Water is my element

    In Georgia there’s a small town called Warm Springs and there’s a spring that is renowned for its healing capabilities. When F.D.R. had polio he would come down to Warm Springs for the healing spring and soon formed the Roosevelt Warm Springs Institute for Rehabilitation.

    All flowing water has magical properties and high energy. You mix in all the minerals that are in the water, and it is no surprise that people didn't give up on the healing springs. I know I feel a deeply spiritual connection to water. Maybe that is why I am so connected to Njord! Very cool video my friend!

    Another reason the water might be not drinkable is what type of minerals are in the water. If you have ever been to Ruby Falls in Tennessee, you will be advised not to drink the water there due to the high concentration of magnesium thst the water pulls from the rocks it pours out of, which could lead to some heavy stomach issues.

    In my experience the earth is a great healer. Wither it be her crystals that center or her heart that cleanses, she is indeed amazing Nerthus/Danu/Anu all names I am sure she hears. As a healer at least( I do my best at), I truly truly appreciate this my brother. I enjoy Danheim and am checking into Heilung soon. There are so very many traditional expressions and practices still used all over Europe that were not tarnished by the crusaders. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and always super excited to see new videos, I just today got time home to watch this one. May the Gods guide you always

    It's very common for runes having to be carved into the body, this is however not used for a person that is already sick, but blood is almost always a component. Usually the blood fills the runes, and it's drawns based on the sickness, I remember my grandfather needing blood specifically from my left mammary gland.

    Could you do a video on the afterlife for common folk? I doubt I'll be dying in battle so I'm not really sure where I am going. I just can't accept the fact that Odin would cast me to hell and I would be doomed to fight in the armies of Ragnarok against the Gods I love so much.

    • @TheWisdomOfOdin

      @@TheWisdomOfOdin I went back and watched this video, while it did answer some of my questions, I am still wondering what happens to those who go to Hel. She is destined to fight the Gods at Ragnarok and use her army of the dead, I could only assume it's those that went to Hel. Perhaps there are things about Ragnarok we do not understand because why would Odin arm one of his primary adversaries in that battle? Perhaps Ragnarok it not truly inevitable, perhaps it's something that can happen, but can also be prevented. I feel as though there is a major piece to the puzzle missing when it comes to Ragnarok and obviously the afterlife.

    I find it interesting how I, with a science degree, find interesting these topics how you have a good mindset and don't go "this is magic" and more like "seems like there are minerals in there that seem to work. So there's science behind it". I appreciate that.

    • @TheWisdomOfOdin
      @TheWisdomOfOdin  2 года назад +1

      I fully believe magic is just a term for science we haven't discovered yet. Weather prediction was one of the biggest roles of religion in the past, now we have science to show us the weather. But even with radars, and meteorologist, they are often still wrong. So the old ways can still play a hand in our modern world.
      I said we would have one more snow before the end of winter, and sure enough 5 days before the solstice we had one. Was it magic? Or just me knowing this area and paying attention to the signs of the natural world? Either way its something our ancestors would have just naturally felt.

    • @sewisinc.4545
      @sewisinc.4545 2 года назад

      @@TheWisdomOfOdin I was trying to say something closer to you don't go "this is magic. You should believe it" like a zealot would try.
      As someone who studied science, I have this inclination towards not getting close to magic and such but I get what you're trying to say. I understand our ancestors didn't understand what was happening and to them it was magic. It just got explained so it isn't magic to us now.
      As for you sort of predicting it was going to snow again, yeah, it's you and your experience and knowledge of the area and its weather. Just like when you were in school and had a classmates who was almost always late to class and you know it was highly likely he'd be late again that day. I, personally, don't see that as magic. By the way, sorry about the example. As a teacher, I think in school terms. Haha.

    Why do so many call Norse pagan myth? Why do they call there Gods a myth? I'm a Heathen and my Gods are real. How could 1 expect to feel the Gods and Goddesses if they keep referring to them as a myth. Healing magic requires believe and faith. You can't have real faith calling it a myth.
