@@LeonTodd Yeah, it didn’t quite look like one. Thought maybe it was an older custom shop. I like the color. Sort of robin’s egg blue. I just became an owner of a Strandberg Boden Prog NX6. Heck of a guitar. I love it. It’s really cool not having to worry about banging a headstock into things and just the all around size.
Can you explain the diffusion settings more? I would have always assumed that 100% diffusion would just sound like reverb but the really low diffusion time seems to negate that. I’ve played with diffusion times greater than the default but never really low percentages. How did you determine that’s what the PCM70 is doing?
My buddy who matched the Axe and the original unit basically sorted it through trial and error. I imagine the PCM70 probably had quite a limited memory allocated to the diffusion time so this cops that.
Great tones and playing as always mate but that guitar is absolutely gorgeous! Harley Benton? As a North Carolinian i need that with that exact colour!
Got this working on my FM3 with a Pan Delay on Delay 1 and a Circular Delay on either the MTD or a Delay 2 block. Both together is even better and using the Dual Delay instead of the MTD saves on CPU. Unfortunately no Diffusion parameter on normal Delay blocks for the FM3.
Seems like you’re the best with the axe-fx 3. I can’t figure out how to connect my boss ve-500 to my axe. I just want to use it for pitch correction when playing chords. Any ideas?
Something I have been doing is stacking stereo delays one after another and using delay times that are double, triple, or quadruple the original delay time. Have a Great Day!!
@LeonTodd Thank you. That's what I did! I'm using your hx multi 4 delay patch parallel with a dual delay 1/8 note dotted and 1/4 note with a subtle dynamic plate reverb. Placater dirty guitar patch that you used with the line 6 drive in front on the lead channel.
I'm taking these tips to my Helix after werk today! Thanks LT!
Yeah man killer tones! And that Harley Benton guitar sounds great too, their guitars aren't half bad for the price! I might have to pick one up.
It's ridiculous. Feels so smooth, great setup and the stock pickups are pretty good.
Hell yea! Steve lukather delays
Cool man, I think i'm going to dive a little bit more into the defusion parameters.
Really cool with long delays and a longer diffusion time too. Lush!
Nice Leon.
Nice tips. Always loved the Lexicon Circular Delay ala David Gilmour.
Question: Was that a Strandberg?
Actually a Harley Benton Dullahan - rips!

Yeah I'm finding the same, can't break a headstock that isn't there :p
Very nice. 👍🏻

Yeah HB Dullahan. Such a great guitar regardless of the price point.

Anyone else watch Leon's vids while having axe edit open and end up trying to edit parameters through youtube? Probably just me... 😂
I'll just add that this has happened TO ME when trying to recreate a few things before :p

Set it up using the in/out 3 blocks on the axe, and place those blocks on the grid where you need them

Oooh gotta try that!
@@LeonTodd Keep the feedback times lower on the first stereo delay, under 20% for starters.
If you run the circular and panning delay. Which delay goes first in the effects chain?
Put them in parallel

A Brighton Rock-Delay may be? ;-)
Yeah this needs to happen!
HI EVER GREAT AMAZING.
Do you bring the axe fx to gigs?
FM3 or FM9 these days, Axe lives in the studio.
Pcm 70!
The legend!
@@LeonTodd no, you're the legend
