The stunt driver handling that '70 Caddy is doing one hell of a job. Getting that beast to power slide smoothly around corners nice and flat takes talent. Besides being a land yacht and a tank, it had overboosted power steering and pillow soft suspension. The driver did a hell of a job with it.
I was just gonna comment the exact same thing. Its also pretty impressive how them big ol chunks of metal can perform when you got a guy who knows how to drive one
Dukes of Hazzard-Raid on the Boss Hogg´s record company 1203pm 2.8.23 i remember that day... all the punk rock and fall records...all the concert footage of suicide, the mudhoney stuff etc etc...

That's a rare sight to see the roof up on Boss's Cadillac. It's funny when his driver puts the seatback forward and it makes the horn blare. I also like those high-speed left turns made by the Cadillac. It looked like they showed an early 70s Dodge Coronet sedan when the General Lee was driving out and they rammed into it.
I read in the early episodes they did cuss for a while but when the show became a hit with younger people. They refrained from cussing. I think I read your comment a long time ago because I’m watching the full episode for the first time and just saw this scene and remembered reading this comment
2:57 - "Boss Jefferson Davis Hogg was born on the dirt floor of a sharecroppers shack. From there, things kind of went downhill but everybody has a talent. And Boss has a gift to graft. In a dazzling career in Hazzard County ranging from moonshine to political corruption, Boss have been chased by everything from revenuers to bloodhounds to irate husbands, even if the city cops do spot his license and we don't matter now. Cause Boss changes his license plates like does his underwear - which is every time he goes to town. When it comes to basic cunning, old Boss was plumb heat up with it."
Alden R Davis go on YOU GOT THE BALLADEER WAYLON OUTLAW COUNTRY JENNINGS AT IT'S BEST DOWN TO A T. AND WITH THIS YOU HAD TO LISTEN PRESS PAUSE WRITE IN THAT ORDER. BUT YOU DID THIS
That is such an awesome script. Damn, I love Boss Hogg. It's said that the actor (a respected theater actor) loved playing that character than anything else he did. May God bless his soul. He brought allot of joy.

Hot80s I love the series, and I've seen every episode. The first 5 episodes filmed in Georgia were the best. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the episodes filmed in California, but damn, if the entire show was filmed in Georgia, it would have been incredible.
Something interesting is you will actually hear them cuss every once and a while in the first season and even a few in the second season. But they quickly stopped it as it wasn’t expected to be such a hit with more younger people. “Jack ass” “damn” are ones I hear most often. I read a comment on a video of this scene that boss says “sh*t” as he drops that lady on the floor in a rush to leave and it sounds like it’s what he said
Even though it were all reruns on TV, with this, the A-team and sometimes even Knight Rider i've had a pretty awesome childhood. Anywhere i can watch the show, maybe online?
They should’ve kept Bo’s hair dyed that beautiful blonde for the whole series he was so cute and looked sexy with his thick blonde hair this is season one hey some things you don’t change but he still looked good
During my recent move from 2nd to 1st floor in my facilify I discovered a ton of old pictures! One of them was of me with youll never guess who “Boss Hogg”! The trouble is Im 73 and cant remember where when how I met him! But it was such a wonderful picture He had his arms around me and mine around him and smiling! He was in his all white outfit. What an incredible discovery!

That big floating caddy! I like them old caddys!
Had to laugh when Boss Hogg dumped the chick off his lap onto the floor! And see that stud driving J.D Caddy, he must be Lu Lu's boy toy!
They were being chased by police officers with more modern equipment and tactics than back in Hazard county. In fact they were LUCKY to have escaped.
Sorrell Booke (Boss Hogg) graduated from Columbia at 19 in 1949, and received a Master of Fine Arts at Yale . He served in the United States Army during the Korean War as a counterintelligence officer and could speak five languages.

And it was all done by accident too.
That was when Luke gashed his arm on the antenna, hence rear antenna afterward.

75 Plymouth fury that the general rammed
This was the only episode of Dukes Of Hazzard where Boss's Cadillac had the roof up.

That was a short-lived team-up between the Dukes and Jojo. And JD's driver must've been taking notes from the Dukes.
JD was guiding him through the whole thing.
Love that 4 note horn my 93 had one too
that "kid" in bosses limo is Gary Baxley stunt directors nephew in his younger days
chris terroy thk i always wondered who it was who was the other guy they replaced him with later in the series? then
