Angie, this was so very, very informative, you never cease to amaze with your oratory skill. The toilet tissue analogy was right on point, and I wish more doctors would make their patients aware of this. I became more attuned to my health after donating a kidney to a half sibling 11 years ago, 18 months later I had to have total left and right hip replacement (from years of being very physically active) and a hernia repair. During rehab from the hip replacement I was diagnosed with cancer (on my birthday). After almost 3 months of daily radiation I’ve been cancer free for 6 years. 4 years ago I had a heart attack requiring placement of 3 stents. I shared all that to say your sharing this info is extremely valuable. I’ve lived what I thought was a fairly healthy lifestyle and still had these challenges; some could have been averted or addressed earlier if I had been more attuned. Health awareness/monitoring and knowing your family health history is crucial to living a long, healthy life. BTW, I run and bike ride every day and I feel absolutely fantastic each and every day which is truly a Blessing. In the words of Mr. Spock: "Live Long and Prosper" Angie.

Angie's way of explaining things makes it more easier to understand than to ask people who are actually working in the medical field. She got this way of telling stories that can be very relatable even to the most hardest topics. She's like our big sister who teaches us cool things in a fun way. I'm glad that I'm not the only one who noticed her gift of touching peoples heart. I love how she said the word TMI on the first part of the video, that actually made my day. Stay healthy and beautiful Angie. We luv u:)

Thank you, Ms. Angie, for sharing this vlog with us. It can be quite scary to have to go through medical procedures, but we do need it to check the state of our health. I'm glad you shared this because it helps others out there feel that they're not alone and that we must be brave to address health concerns.

This happens to us, esp., to my son every summer. It got something to do with over exposure to sun and heat. And our inability to adjust to diff type of weather. It'll eventually goes away after we get back to our normal habitat/weather after a few months or a year max.

hi Angie - I got tested for Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO). It came back positive. The test consisted of fasting for 12 hours with a list of foods and liquids allowed for this period, followed by another 12 hours of no liquids or food. After the 24-hour period, I took a 3-hour breathing test that lasted 3 hours. I had to breathe into a different tube every 20 mins lasting 3 hours
I just began taking a specific antibiotics (2-week treatment) to rid of the bacteria in the small intestines. Just thought sharing with you and your viewers.

@@AngieMeadKing I am doing better Angie. The last two months was hell for me. Didn’t know what was happening to me. But I saw this video on RUclips and it talked about SIBO. So I asked my gastro doctor to give me the test. I had gone through, endoscopy, blood test, MRI, Ultrasound, and countless tests. I too had high creatinine and was scared my kidneys were going bad. Now there’re back to normal levels. I’ve gone through a journey. Haven’t had any beef for 2 months, no sugar, lots of organic greens, and all the healthy stuff. Lost 15 pounds from 180 to 165. I thank God and my family, friends for being there for me. I take Apple Cider (ACV)Vinegar everyday. I no longer take PPI for my acid reflux. ACV does wonders for your body and health overall. I hope you’re doing well also….David

Relate! I also tried IF and binge eating during the pandemic. Unhealthy eating habits really took a toll on my health. I had to stop eating out for 3 months. Just had clear soups with ginger, veggies, fish/chicken breast for months. Besides the emotional stress, it was also financially draining. Now, I am into eating foods with probiotics. I also try to eat papaya every day and lots of fiber! Wishing you good health and fast recovery!

Oh!!! I am so inspired with this post. I just lost a grandma who had stomach blockage that led to stomach cancer😥. Her intestines were all rotten when the doctor openned it. She never complained of symptoms, only a few prickling pain at times, but she always says it's just minor pains and manageable. NOW, i am scared, and paranoid. Because i sumtimes feel minor pains to acute pains on my right lower abdomen. I had appendectomy last 2012, but i still feel the pains.

So we made up a group and we were inundated with former Hpylori patients...Here's the synopsis. Everyone has symptoms most of the symptoms are different from everyone else's. Any part of the body and several parts at one time can be affected. The internet don't know shit..read the blogs. The HUGE antibiotics doses are a nightmare. Now I eat at home. I love Y'all!❤❤

Thank you for sharing this Angie. New subscriber here. Been on an indigenous plant-based way of eating since summer of 2009 after unexplained skin rashes appeared on my face and torso. Turned out I was being given antibiotics for an antibiotic resistant bacteria that exhibited itself as a UTI. (As a former teacher I chose attending to students over going on bathroom breaks between classes.)
If I hadn't listened to my body and prayed a lot I would have been dead. It's been 13 years since and my husband and I have kept the plant-based way of eating and being. We haven't had major health issues since then and don't intend to ever. It is possible to reclaim your health and life with divine guidance.
May you and Joey remain always blessed!

Do you have breast implants? A few years back, I was experiencing health complications that my doctors couldn't explain. All my test results came back normal which made no sense. I then stumbled upon information about BII (Breast Implant Illness). I had these implants removed and my symptoms I was experiencing at the time resolved itself.
