Would you ever consider doing throwback eyeshadow palette videos? With palettes a lot of us still own? I am loving throwback eyeshadow palette content at the moment -it reinspires me about using palettes I already own (instead of buying new stuff!) super helpful when on a low buy!!

Ooh gonna check out the mascara. I use these lip formulas, and when I apply a balm first, the formula feels more silky, like a regular satin lipstick. You don't get the full longevity, and it stays more emollient, but it's a way to wear comfortably to use it up.

I picked up that new Maybelline foundation after your review and HOLY FFFF it‘s SO good. I have very sensitive, acne prone skin, oily on the forehead and sides of my nose, rather normal everywhere else and it blew me away. It became my favourite foundation immediately. I don‘t like Sky High mascara but I‘m super curious to try other products from them 👌🏻

Shame about the tints, I was prepared to pick one up but I can't do the stickiness. A burgundy mascara on the other hand 👀 might need to join my collection
I may try the lipstick because for me longevity is essential. I actualy find all lipsticks comfortable. Maybe I have less sensitive lips, but I use these Kiko dual ended lipsticks frequently (one side is colored matte and the other is clear gloss) and I wear them all day without any discomfort
That was my look (although blue red) during the early 80s! Memories ✨

Kat, the Maybelline Lumi Matte foundation is just arriving in Canada but I haven’t seen it stocked yet in many stores, just the new empty displays. I did see the new Maybelline liquid lipstick in a Shoppers drug Mart but at the list price of $20 CDN, this is a pass. I am not sure if the Maybelline blue mascara is here yet.
I’m definitely gonna get the blue and the burgundy mascara. I adore coloured mascara, used to get a decent white base then use the awful coloured ones from like 2007-10 ish over the top.
They flaked like crazy.
So, my no-buy started again 24 hours ago but I need the burgundy. NEED. I've got a white primer. I got some new vampy lip shades I'm going monochromatic, baby.

The secret of stains is that there aren’t many colours that truly stain well, so you don’t need many 😆
No. They have a higher number of shades than some AB brands, but AB has much broader variance in shades even with only 6. I spent some time going through all the NYX shades on Beauty Bay before they got here and it was bad. Only a few looked majorly different the honey one (which doesn't work) and a couple of brighter reds. Rom&nd has like, what, 25 Juicy Tints now?

I think the cobalt isn’t light enough over your dark lashes but you could use a white lash primer first which would be a wonderful touch
I did put that on the screen as an option. Personally I don’t think I would wear it often if I had to put a lash primer first, too fiddly

This is me w/every liquid lipstick ever invented. They never fully dry down with me, or at least, I lose patience after 40 minutes and take it off and my mouth is dry 'cos I've had my lips hanging open. I got my first AB "lip mud" this week and it was surprisingly comfortable I've not been able to wear a matte for years. Problem is I got the certain-type-of-hole lip effect after 2 hours.

I don’t have any. This is my only coloured mascara in my collection at the moment haha
Anything you can recommend for someone who was wanting to try teddy stain but now reconsidering? Have the elf glossy lip stain and dont hate it
It really depends on what you are after, this is supposed to be a soft matte, but applies shiny and settles down to a creme type finish, so it really doesn't deliver on what it claims. If you wanted a soft matte finish in a liquid lipstick, I prefer the Kaleidos ones, which are transfer proof, or even the MAC powder kiss liquid. I personally prefer a bullet with a similar finish (Shu Uemura Rouge Unlimited Matte) or MAC Powder Kiss Slim Stick. For a slightly more sheerer formula (which gives that blotted look) MAC Powder Kiss are nice. These bullets all look better than this and are more comfortable, they also wear really well for a bullet lipstick and are very easy to reapply. For a stain, I always recommend Tony Moly, they have both shiny and matte finish ones and they stain amazingly. So many better options than this haha

I'm so sad the lipstick is just a liquid lipstick and NOT a tint. It's so disappointing. I really wish someone would make proper tints! (Other than Tony Moly, ofc)

Sigh I'm going to have to pay $50 to get Lumi-Matte in 102 imported in from the US (that's lighter than 90, theirs correspond to Fit Me, I believe so 102 is Fair Porcelain). It's been sitting in my cart and I'm being sensible but I need to see it on with something in the ballpark and I'm tired, overworked, in pain and hot.
