  • A lot of advice on RUclips about Canada is from RUclipsrs who came here before COVID-19 happened. Life before that was totally different and I talk about how things have changed. If you agree, subscribe and like otherwise leave a hate comment.

I totally agree. Came to Canada in 2019 and things were completely different. Definitely think twice before coming here in 2024. Thank you for addressing these concerns which most influencers and RUclipsrs don’t bother to.

I am planning to move Canada after PR and working as IT Business analyst in India. Please guide.

I am myself working as a business analyst. BAs usually get anywhere from 55k to 90k depending on the experience. Considering the current job market, I will say take a worst case scenario of 4-6 months to find your first job. You can later switch and increase your salary, remember its a Test match and not a T20 match (coming to Canada and settling here). Also your work experience in India will be greatly undervalued here unless you are planning to join the same company (so please be mentally prepared for that!)

I 100% agree to what Luv has mentioned.

@luvkhandelwal1997 Hi I think your profile of BA involves data analytics and D.Science, whereas mine has requirements manager & product management, analysis, act as bridge b/w client and tech team(documentation) as skillset. Please clear this. Thanks for the earlier fast input.

I think it is worth it only if one gets into top tier institutions and in demand courses. Diploma mills don’t make sense anymore. And when I say top tier, I mean UofT, Western, Queen’s, UBC, and McGill.

Exactly, no need to look below top 5 universities at this point. Or if you are getting into the tech side then yes to that as well. Otherwise everything else is a big no!

Canada m Master's karne jata kon h? 😅 One of the worst countries to settle in. India is much better or far far better than Canada. Sabko Aajkal PR lena h even if they want to be homeless. I think student and people need to understand clean road, tall buildings or clean air don't give a person happiness, Paisa bolta h.

India is better than Canada would be an overstatement. If you are earning above 20-25lpa and living with family (basically no rent) then it does not at all makes sense to come here. India is progressing superfast but there's a long way to go.

@@luvkhandelwal1997 Bro I think a person in their 20s should develop skills which make them earn more in India, It's a person's mistake if he doesn't earn more (excluding those who don't have the resources to get the facilities that a normal person gets). I will repeat again INDIA is far far better than any other country in this time. Your statement looks like someone who doesn't earn 25 Lakhs/annum must migrate to another country. Speak honestly that a PR status is everything, not 25 Lakhs🤣
